Oops, I forgot week 16. Um yeah, Manitoba. Worked so hard, winning 7 straight and going 8-1-1 in the previous 10, only to lose to Algoma's Nachos. The two-time CPL East champs threw three picks and gave up 5 field goals, which was enough. Congrats, Matators!

Manitoba Matadors

Playoffs Round 1 fail goes to Hawaii. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not heartless. I'm sympathetic to having to play an 8 seed that leads the league in effective level. But going from 16-0 to gutting in 60 minutes stings. The #1 seed gained just 61 net yards passing (after sacks), and lack of punt blocking bit them in the ass again. Congrats, Bulls!

Playoffs Round 2 fail goes to Farlig. Early in the season, Cult decided to pick a CPL team and troll on their behalf, and chose the Teabaggers. A convincing choice, as Victoria themselves talked quite a bit of premature trash themselves in season 25. However, this time it was merely a ruse. A ruse that was opaque to a certain monkey with glasses. Congrats, Farlig! Sorry man, rough week.

Playoffs Round 3 fail goes to the Fredricton running game. Their offense racked up 342.5 yards through the air, but had few points to show for it, thanks to only 19.5 yards on the ground (52 before sacks), and a key fumble while trailing by 4 midway through the 4th quarter. The result was a 13-20 defeat. Congrats, Mima Mounds!
