Honest question. Are addicts and black hand the same org? Where does fire empire fit in? Are there subsets and classes? I should know this as the co-owner of the alpine addicts but i forget
addicts and black hand are distinctly separate but there are some agents that are in both. empire is a flagship addicts team so there is no grey area there. there are subsets and ranks within the organization but noone understands them except gman
I understand too.
Black Hand used to be part of Addicts, but split to do their own thing, though many BH folks remained Addicts just to confuse everything.
We have flagship teams, which are typically teams owned and operated by and as Addict teams. We also have standard "Addict-owned" teams that we gladly help out if they need them, but many of them operate on their own or through other networks. Alpine and HHWC fall into this category- wherein the owner and generally some team members are Addicts and have access to recruit in the forum, but tend to do their own thing.
To add to the confusion, we do have associated "Families" which are their own networks. HOOD, Omerta, BSS, Growl, LoEA, Hugos, etc. are all affiliated.

I thought the addicts were just a bunch of losers in real life who needed an outlet to feel like they belonged to something because they were so insignificant in real life.

Pretty sure this is the majority of the GLB user base. Most just don't realize it.

Pretty much. That's why we control 90% of the existing GLB user base (i.e., nine of the ten people left playing). The question is- which people are multis of that tenth person?

You mean the few DS folks who aren't Addicts?
