All I hear is alot of excuses while everyone post legit numbers.

My problem with this is that CBs are your thing. Your claim, not mine. I believe I am a good dot builder but I don't act like I specialize at any position. You on the other hand do and some seem to have bought into that or those bad builds wouldn't be on WL teams.

I honestly think that your CBs were some of the better ones in the game.... 10 seasons ago. How you look like a dinosaur. A builder that hasn't adjusted or stayed competitive with the changes.

Lastly being on WL teams you would think the DCs handling your players would be some of the best in the game. I havent done it myself yet but I would be very interested to see the numbers from your CBs compared to other CBs in WL.

Dont you agree that would be a more accurate?

Did you even read my posts? I pointed out how you were wrong with the numbers of my CB: he only allowed 55% of passes thrown his way. This is less than all but one of the other man CBs on Hood. He also had more forced turnovers than the other man CBs and the second fewest missed tackles. So if he has some of the best numbers on Hood, which is one of the better pass defenses in GLB, then he must be pretty good compared to other CBs in WL.

You also failed to respond to the numbers I posted about your CBs. Against WL teams (who weren't game planning), your CBs had a higher % of passes allowed, more missed tackles, and fewer forced turnovers. Going by the numbers or the success of the teams, my CB is better.

Do you have a script for this?

And for comparison's sake, the CB1 on Mojo allowed 50% passes thrown his way (same receptions allowed, 7 more passes thrown his way), had 2 missed tackles, and 2 forced turnovers. So better on passes allowed and missed tackles, but one less forced turnovers. Slightly better numbers, but not so much to say YMXI's numbers are "pretty shitty by WL standards."

Longhorn you keep deflecting attacks on my CBs when this thread is about you and your CBs. No matter how much you try we can still see your builds and your season numbers.

I'm actually bored and have a hour or two. Going to check your numbers compared to everyone else in WL. And not your dots against over HOOD CB dots. If they took hour dots who knows what else they took at secondary.

I actually responded to both issues: (1) my CBs being good relative to WL CBs, and (2) my CBs being better than yours. The original topic of the thread was my CBs, but it evolved into also being a comparison between our CBs. In fact, you're the one who brought in a comparison of completion rates. So now you get to respond to my numbers. How do you account for the fact that when your CBs played WL teams, they did worse than my CB? At this point, you're the one who is deflecting.

All 10 were from trips formation. There were 0 from sb formation.

Still, all the numbers posted are rather meaningless due to va activations throughout the game.

Of course not. If he was shitty, then by extension his team should have been shitty.

I obviously didn't think you would admit it since you have a long history of serious self-delusion (all the times you're absolutely sure you won an argument against me), I just thought it would be funny to watch you try to deny that your CB had shitty stats. He really did.

You also have to account for him playing CB1, meaning he covers more screens (count as completions)

What? Of all your horrible excuses to avoid admitting the truth, this is one of your worst. Please come up with something less ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure it was previously established that a screen counts as a completed pass against the nearest receiver.

Pretty sure this isn't true either. You have to be assigned to cover that receiver for it to count.

Why don't you ignore the rest of my post? Like where I pointed out that he failed to account for KLs counting as receptions allowed, making my CB's numbers 55% of passes allowed, which is very similar to most CB1s in WL. In comparing him to other man CBs on his team (to account for the differences in DCs among WL teams), he had a better % than all but one man coverage CB with more INTs and the second least number of missed tackles.

Longhorn's CB was 6th on his own team in pass deflections. Most of the defensive backs had a pass deflection to targets ratio of .280 to .300, while Eradication was only .254. The good news is that he wasn't the worst on the team. Yes Man XII: Ruination came in at .246, lol. Thank goodness for Bort's bad lead code on so many WR1 routes or his receptions allowed would have been even worse.
