Because (1) it takes too long that way when you have a ton of dots and (2) on my phone it's a huge pain to flip back and forth between forum and player pages.

If this "would" happen, I'd also like to see an alert come in when a coordinator adjusts his "recommended" settings, so you know there has been a change.

It's that time of the season again. I enjoy building dots. I have lots of dots. I'm paying for lots of dots. I play this game mainly as a casual thing that I can do in my spare moments ... literally I often log on for just a couple of minutes on any given day, maybe look at one or two of my dots, and that's about it. On weekends I can get some more time. But what I'd like to do, if I get a couple of hours, is spend it building dots, watching some replays, maybe talking strategy with one or two of my teams. What happens this time of the season is a whole bunch of time spent on busywork of setting tactics and VAs.
I just want to do the enjoyable parts, and decrease the busy work. Is that so bad? Doesn't that make sense in the context of a game like this? I don't want to spend hours trying to synch up my dots with team strategy each season. Why not make it easier.

I didn't build any new dots this season. This kind of stuff is a big part of the reason why. It isn't the cost (for me.)

Im all for it if this is a option for the player to allow the Coordinator or owner take over tactics. With that said I dont know if I as a team(s) owner and coordinator for several teams want to have the added responsibility to have to check to see if players are set to tactics besides the posting in a team forum. The player should have some responsibility to his/her Dot.

I as the owner and Coordinator want my time also. I may be one of the few left who actually game plans and with 4 teams and a few other coordinating jobs I find myself running out of time and really dont want to add more time to myself because a agent wont set his tactics to the teams choice.


I not against 100% but also want my time to be considered as it seems to me we are just passing some of the work the agent needs to do to the upper Management team.

This is the perfect compromise to the open/closed tactics boreathon. I'd even like a checkbox on the tactics page where you could automatically set the coach's suggestions.

heck i could even get behind this. much easier to set tactics when you are on vacation but the team will play 3 or 4 games while you are away.

Agreed. It is the perfect compromise, and I completely support it. +100.

To those who say they want to share tactics because they want to make sure they are setting them as requested, there can be a button to set the tactics as requested right on the page, without disturbing the prerogative of going one's own way for people who want that.

Yeah, I like this idea much better, as it keeps the choice down to the player.
