For week 14, the fail award goes to the Rulers offense, averaging less than 2 yards per carry (disregarding sacks) and less than 5 yards per pass in a 10-3 overtime loss to Hawaii. The loss to drops them two spots in the standings, below the Bulls, and likely on the outside looking in for a home playoff game. Congrats, Montreal!

Montreal Rulers offense

yo EEPL is full of care

For week 15 the fail award goes to the Vikings, breaking Montreal's two game losing streak to extend their own losing streak to four. They scored a critical KR TD to stay in it late. But when they got the ball back, needing 61 yards in 43 seconds, they ran a pitch and then threw two short passes to run out the clock. Congrats, Houston!

For week 16, you guessed it. Jawed Slacked off the last 3 weeks of the season and got bumped from the playoffs by their last two opponents. Congratulations, Yokels!

Playoffs round 1! This one was a tough call with no upsets. Naturally I took a close look at the two close games. Trucking took a 5 point lead into the 4th quarter thanks to some KO FFs and 3 TD passes in the 4th quarter. But, then they kept passing. And passing. And passing. They still had the lead with under 6 minutes left, but ultimately called 13 pass plays to just 1 run in the fourth quarter, completing 1 pass for 3 yds, getting sacked 4 times, and losing a fumble. Oh and the one run was on 3rd & 7, leading to a punt. No offense, peadawg... congrats Long Haul, at least you go out with an award!

I was trying to avoid this all season...so since it was just an honorable mention can we say I avoided it???

Would it help if I told you I loaded the Playoff specific AI that I worked on for 3 hours to our scrim game instead of the actual game and put a base AI in there? Oh no...cause that would get me a true fail!

As you might have guessed, with two conference championship game blowouts, we have a fail tie this week. The Battletoads' punt return unit gave up 2 TDs, which is never a good idea facing a team that only gives up 5.4 points per game, and the Mercenary Penguin offense mustered just 116.5 yds and 0 points. Congrats, Manhattan and Tradewest!
