I like the anti gameplan excuse myself, as in i meant to take buttfucking and lul u into overconfidence.
It worked well against Alpine.

I will game plan every game this season, with one the exception. I won't game plan when my team loses.

Looks like your gonna have a pretty light workload this season then.

lol Now that means I will draw the Lone Stars in the opener. That might be just the inspiration I need but then again, you will never know until after the game.
It's genius!

Is this the thread where we detail which games we gameplanned for and how much effort we put in to each one?

Yeah maybe, but how would you quantify 11th best if noone really tries.

LMAO at people ranking themselves as "Best OC"
We all know how fucking easy it is to actually put together a game plan, takes about 10 minutes to figure shit out. The OC's know it doesn't have to take much time at all, to be quite frank. So I have always laughed at people proclaiming to be really good coordinators. The key to success is matching VA's to builds, and having tactics in place with certain builds ........ if a team is on the same page in both of those categories (assuming the dots are well built), being an OC is fucking easy ..... but yes, OC's do take all the credit for any success .......... Any failures, and its obviously the, "We didn't game plan" routine

I dunno. I'm always surprised how bad a lot of offensive gameplans look whenever i scout various games. From play selection, to situational calling, obvious tagging situations and especially pass progressions. Often not terrible but just need some tweaks here and there that can make a difference.
VA/AEQ selection are pretty similar across most every WL and top pro team now. No one is really don't anything completely unique. Builds have caught up too with all the extra SP and CEQ% bonus.

THIS is not true at all..
this season with ECS my APL team I OC for. I took over at the start of the season after VAs and shit were applied, I had no input on their builds, which sucked for the most part. we got to the conference finals with that team. teams that dont think having a good OC and DC are important are teams that arent relevant to the w/l. I mean you can have the best dots and never win anything, and you can also have meh dots and good OCs and DCs and win a league..

I agree its pretty easy. But 90% of this games oc's aren't fitting ur description of the easy button.

LOL at people thinking their game plans actually make a lick of freaking difference. If teams are evenly matched the entire result of the game is based on RNG. It's why I got out of the OC business.
Either one of three conditions exist for every game:
Your builds are superior to your opponents and you don't have to plan
Your builds are inferior and you don't have to plan
Your builds are equal and RNG accounts for 90% of the results.
Signed - Former OC who watched the exact same plans for two teams that played each other within seconds result in a 24 point almost win for team "A" (game stopped Simming with less than 2 minutes to go in 4th qtr) in game 1 and a 3 point win for team "b" in game 2 (re-simmed with exact same settings for both teams immediately after the initial game had to be aborted).
So, do all the scouting you want, in the end not worth the time.
