Good lists. Still perplexed how the WRs thing works when none of the London guys get in but dominate the Yards/TDs but obviously something does it.....

Gotta love having 2 QB's in the 5 top QBs list for Zeta though

28 receptions - 726 yards - 12 TDS (82% completion rate)

or

42 receptions - 747 yards - 11 TDS (60% completion rate)
47 receptions - 917 yards - 17 TDS (53% completion rate)
71 receptions - 1255 yards - 16 TDS (68% completion rate)

guess completion % may be a big part of it

What about this one... http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1793643%29

I think the completion % plays a part of it...but also the AVG YPC.

Personally I figured my WR would be in there somewhere when we are talking top 10.

The way I went with this whole thing is to determine; if given the chance who would have the best stats not purely who has the best stats (you might as well just look at the conference leaders table for that).

The base value of receivers is per target so if they are targeted (based on the stats) what chance would they have at catching the ball or dropping the pass, then once caught what what are the likely yards, yac or TD chances. For the purpose of explaining I’ll round up the numbers (which the formula doesn’t do) so take Miles Gardener & The Joker as examples

Miles Gardener 11 targets per game = 70% reception chance
The Joker 3 targets per game = 90% completion chance

Miles Gardener 15 yards per reception chance
The Joker 22 yards per reception chance

Miles Gardener 15 yards per reception chance
The Joker 22 yards per reception chance

Miles Gardener 10% chance at a TD
The Joker 35% chance at a TD

Miles Gardener 1 YAC per reception chance
The Joker 7 YAC per reception chance

Miles Gardener 2% chance of dropping a catch
The Joker less than 1% chance of dropping a catch

Each of these are given a value so you would get more points for the yards over YAC for example.

So are QB numbers scaled as well?

Yep, in a similar way but obviously successful pass % then yards/TD chance vs. bad throw/Int chance

So now I just gotta pass to my blocking TE once and get him to catch it to get him in the team

Pretty much yeah.....

Nah I’ve got filters on that stipulate a certain amount of targets/receptions totals needed as well as targets/receptions per game needed....nice try though
