NOVA is gone for now. He has removed himself from the Network, removed me from the Sanctum, removed my GM access to his teams, removed himself from his DC responsibilites on Mad City, Tampa, and the Champions, removed my posting abilities on the team of his I have a dot on, and blocked my PMs to him.
All this is due to his belief that I have a big ego, and need to "Grow the fuck up". Big ego? Not in my opionion, but that doesn't really matter now does it. I like to joke, as do a lot of posters on here (Looking at you ProKop ) yet NOVA seems to get especially defensive and aggressive whenever I chime in. Do I wish I could talke back whatever comment has pissed him off? Your damn right I do, If I was aware that he would react in such a brash, and if I may add somewhat childish for a 40 something year old man, I would never have said it.
Do I think he'll be back? Yeah, I do. Do I want him back? Um of course? What a seasoned DC and Agent he is, he's a true gem on GLB. It will take some time of course, but we'll come to terms eventually and all will be well.
What we need to do is try to hold this Network together and not take sides. I dont want you to say "Fuck Govol, go NOVA!" and I definately don't want you to say "Fuck NOVA, go Govol!". Neither will get us anywhere, and it will tear this beautiful thing we've all built right down the middle.
If anyones ever wanted to try DCing, I got two playoff teams that you can start on right away until he returns. You'll have all day tomorrow to get your DC and tactics ready.
Also, congratulations Jcm on getting 2 NOVA DCed teams for S25
