Do you believe in love, hate, anger, embarrassment, happiness, sadness, etc? Why, you can't see the actual emotions.
Do you believe there will be a next year? Why, you can't see it.
Do you believe there was a world 1000 years ago? Why, you didn't see it.
John 20:29..... Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
For the first two questions. You may not see them, but you can feel them.... If you let Jesus in your heart, you can feel him there as well.
As for the last question. Of course it's easy to believe that the world was here 1000 years ago. There were people here back then who saw it, things are documented, etc..... Jesus was once here as well. There were people here back then who saw him, things were documented(bible), etc.

He does it because he wants to make sure he's not alone. If he can convince us that God is not real then he has proved athiesm is correct, in his eyes. Nobodys wants to be a lonely athiest. But when all of our society has the desire to sin...getting drunk, getting high, having sex it makes for more people to not -want- to believe in God, because they -want- to do the wrong things. The more people that become athiest, the more likely it is in the athiests mind that they are correct.
What they don't realize is when they stand before God have to answer for everything they have done on Earth, all of their GLB buddies won't be there next to them, just him.
