lets do this GLB. with all the new plays now implemented. this will give OCs better control in the passing game.
And it does NOT make it more complicated. it actually makes it LESS complicated to do your outputs. because we are not forced to fill out the entire progression tree if we are targeting 1 or 2 dots. the rest we can leave blank(not the forced default wr1).
blank = scan the field as tho there are no progressions.
Can't believe I never saw this one with all the posts in but a BIG +1 to this.
When they are lower levels it makes sense that you have to spoon feed them the progressions or else they make bad reads/decisions but by the time they get to Pro...a great QB build should be capable of making the right choice without having to lay it out for him. And perhaps some might if you focused heavily on other skills.
Open Man - look for players who are calling Im Open or who seem to be Open in that order
First Down Yardage - look for players who are standing beyond the changes as the ball is thrown
Midfield - look for players between the hashmarks to avoid clock stoppage
Sideline - look for players nearer to the sidelines in the hopes of stopping the clock
Favorite Receivers - the QBs first and second favored receivers set in his tactics, if any
Hot Hands - Receivers who have a percentage boost this play, be it from Slow Starter, Streaky, BT expenditure, RedZone boosts, Promotions etc and OR players who have caught the most balls this game this being a check for skill hotness and also good match ups.
