This game would be awesome as the chess game of "do I run the cover 2" or "do I run the cover 3" but instead its, should I or should I not move my FS in one spot, move my linebacker up and over to the left one... and ultimately do a bunch of stuff which we couldn't ever actually comprehend all the effects of...

Bring back football and get rid of this nerdy garbage... and you'll have my $$$ again.

They should have either:

A) Created a LOT more base defenses & offensive plays to choose from. This creates more strategy, but confines it a bit (more like madden).
or
B) Created an OPC as well. That way if you couldn't block some uber-blitz, it was your fault, not BORT's.

I'll take B please. Open DPCs and OPCs for everyone!

But keep in mind how tough it is to find a decent DC these days. Make an OPC and it'll be even tougher to find coaches, especially if it's more than just pass routes and includes blocking schemes.

Have you ever played PigskinEmpire? In there you can create whatever offenses/defenses you want, but in a way that's the downside to the game, too.

he was saying that GLB should've never implemented the DPC in the first place because it is impossible to balance so many variables.

i didnt realize i couldnt make additional points. was i just supposed to write what he did in alternative form and say that i agree with it all??...i thought saying that i agree w some of this was a good introduction to discuss what i DIDNT agree with, but continue to nitpick other peoples comments instead of posting anything worth reading

sorry, to me it read as stoner saying "The DPC shouldn't have been added" and you responded with "I agree, I'm quitting because they're getting rid of the DPC". i can sort of see where you agreed with him in the middle, but on either side of that was "I really liked [things you could do with the DPC]" and then "The removal of DPC is unfortunate, I'm probably quitting" (paraphrased). your response didn't sound like an agreement at all, but i really wanted to take part in a conversation on how people felt about the DPC. I've long held the belief that the DPC caused more problems than the devs were able to account for and wanted to take part in some dialog about it.

that said, if you're going to read everything as an attack on you, I'll just bow out. sorry i tried.

I'm done with PW for one main reason:

Bort couldn't give a fuck about anyone here, and to get things done, we have to literally bitch and complain for 2-3 seasons. I liked the old days here, where they wasn't ridiculous exploits, where match-ups with teams in other conferences were hyped up. When a friendly scrimmage sometimes meant more than a league championship. (Hell, every team challenged SB in like S11 just to beat them, even if that meant they'd go 0-16 in the reg. season).

PW has become a game where it's find out what you can take advantage of, and abuse the shit out of it. I'm also tired of 2-3 people dominating every league because they DC/OC tons of teams and know how to take advantage of things. And those who are good for a season or two right now, usually fizzle out once they realize they actually have to do real work. In the early seasons, we had a few elites like LE, Thunder, and Co. and they usually managed just their team, and at most one other. So other coordinators had a chance to get on teams and learn the game and eventually become good. Now, we have a few young guys who are becoming elites, but are just GMing every possible team to either get a trophy or to get recognition, while other OC/DC's are quitting because it's frustrating to beat say OC A with a team in the first round of the play-offs, but then lose round two or three to that OC A because he GMs 50 teams.

One reason I've stuck with PNP is because most of those guys only GM one or two teams where they do real work. Those guys usually take a shitload of time to do work too, not just abuse things. They aren't elite yet, sorry Z , but some of them are starting to get up there. Same reason I've stayed with Dtown. Not only is he good at entertaining, he really just owns his team, and works to get where he is. He doesn't need the help.

I'm done rambling, just felt I should put out there why I personally think PW is becoming awful.

Thanks brother. We sure had some good times, even when we were battling against each other!! It was all in good fun and most of us men let bye gones be bye gones at the end of the day when we butted heads or badgered each other in forums. (It made for great competition)

One thing I didn't ever do as much as I hated losing when we did, was cheat another owner or agent. I didn't pick up another team to better my teams odds of being elite or getting to see tape on multiple teams. I always stuck to my guns and welcomed any and all agents that were willing to TRY. I never told anyone how to build only gave advise without build guides. I just made it clear best builds would start and if they built a shitty build they would have to play ST. In most every case, I ran the O and D by myself with gaining some scouting advice which I put to use from our agents. (I asked for GP advice from outside affiliates maybe 2 times one from RK and one from LE) The other times advice came from within agents on the team.. We are a Gold caliber team, that is proven and basically all I felt the need to prove when we were denied worthiness in the past as if Gold was given to me. Far from the truth. Back in the day, getting to Gold was a chore, but staying in Gold with a winning record was prideful. Especially playing in excessive tourney's and keeping a winning record with GPing, OCing, DCing, Special Teams, Scouting, Depth Chart, PMing your main agents on tactical changes. Being an Owner is one thing, being an Owner that can RUN A FULL TEAM is in another class!. The reward other than pride is minimum in GLB. GLB needs to make it to where we play for more than a .gif lets play every season that the top 2 teams in each division get reward points. Something simple 500 to the winner, 250 to second place of each league. GLB bites the hand that feeds them instead of giving out some "Atta Boys!"

Thanks too all agents/owners we have ever balled with or was a part of our team!! That is the only reason I still log in from time to time.

We ALL have given ample amount of suggestions to GLB support/Mods to better the game to only get shunned aside.
Give PeeWee there own dedicated server and make it right. When new comers come to this game they basically start out in PeeWee or "D" League. HOW IN THE HELL can GLB expect to keep good paying agents around for more than one or two seasons after playing a sim in the infamous PeeWee Leagues were everything starts!! They see there player they take the time to build play irrational and I would guess 80% + say screw this after 1-3 seasons.

Will not own any teams next season and cut down dramatically on the amount of players I have. Just not feeling enough love to spend anymore on this game.
