It's like this people. If you really want to win slam the ball or some variation of it all game long. It is what it is. It works. You get 4 downs and in pee wee you can slam for 3 yards a pop. 3 x 4 =12. It's not rocket science. Maybe the guys slamming the ball should be calling other teams pussies for playing good defense that shuts the outside runs down? Maybe they are pussies for playing the safties on the outside to protect the outside? Last season pump fake was so good you could have an expanded offense. Just chuck the ball 60 times your sure to connect on some, right?
I'm just saying all this crying about slamming lately is just going to get worse when more games are on the line, like the playoffs. In case no one watched the movie I made for pee wee, we are on pace to be 4,000 yards less in the air this season from last season. Thats a huge difference, know?

my scouting this game looked more like, "hey, the inside on their pro set defense is wide open, that'll be a great place to attack"

yes, we ran inside almost every play. using 11 different plays. also had a lot of other ones in the playbook ready for any and long situations but since you never stopped the inside runs we never had to go away from our gameplan.

last time i checked, its the defense's job to stop the offense's bread and butter and force them to try something different. if you're a heavy passing team and you notice the opposition leaves the TE uncovered from the weak I, are you seriously going to only use plays to the TE out of that formation 5 times in the game just because you feel bad for them? no, you're going to attack that and go all out, use as many different plays with that scenario that you think will be effective for some variety and to avoid RPP, and take advantage of that weakness. especially when the opposing defense doesn't have a whole lot of holes, you have to attack what you are given. you gave me 3-4 ypc from the pro set. i'll take that to the bank every game if you give it to me.

maybe knowing that we are almost exclusively a rushing team, you shouldve switched up your d plays a bit and stacked the box, not bothered double-covering WRs, and actually gameplanning rather than leaving in the same D you had in the couple games i scouted. don't complain about losing to a particular play or style of offense when you knew thats what i would probably be coming with and made no effort to stop it.

i'm not trying to be a dick here, but without having changed the D up one bit you have no right to give me crap for my "lack of scouting" since i did my homework and you did not. next time, if you actually made an effort to stop the inside run it might force us away from that gameplan and cause us to do something different.
