Entitlement? Yeah, I have it. Go visit the DSBM page. Yeah, that's a Gold trophy for the first season Silver existed. Next to it is a silver conference champ trophy from our first season in Gold. We've made the playoffs all 3 seasons in Gold and beat some very good teams along the way. We're in Gold, we won our way there, we're proud of it, and we're not going away. Call it whatever you want -- I'll just call it being very competitive against the best teams in Pee Wee in the best league every season.

As for belittling Silver teams, I see you fail at comprehension too. I've never made a, "These Silver teams suck!" post. You can find plenty of places where I said I was sick of hearing about how great a 14-0 Silver team was and how they're better than Gold teams. That isn't saying they suck. It's just saying I'm tired of hearing it. I'll use TT as an example because we're friendly and have competed for several seasons now. He went undefeated in Silver and steamrolled into Gold. That hasn't exactly translated into super success for him as he missed the playoffs this season. The bottom line is that Gold is the best around and it ain't easy to compete up there. So, get over yourself and shut your piehole. If it bothers you that much, shell out a little more time, thought, and money and get your ass to Gold. The beat downs are waiting every other day. Step up and take it.

As someone who has played just about every Tom, Dick and Harry (Over 300 games) Gold teams are better prepared for everything. There are Silver teams who are pretty good BUT, they do not get tested. A superior Gold team will find your weakness. We will go back 10 games ago and see what beat you and then we will see if your still using the same plays. Then we will beat you with what worked last Christmas. Those plays you were abusing silver teams with will no longer work for you. You'll rely on these plays because you really don't know what works vs a great team.

Now once you get to Gold it gets even more tough, Why? Well guess what, you can get token boosted against vs every team in your conference. 16 games of paddling upstream. So not only do you have to be on your A game, you have to be perfect if your not matching token boosting because you don't have enough to use all 16, only 5. The main reason no one has went undefeated in Gold is because teams token boost and gain an edge. So yes there are great silver teams, but when you have to scout for 2 days to squeak out a 7 point win, you then realize how tough Gold really is. There is no comparison.

They were the 3 seed in the playoffs and lost to us, the DSBM -- a team that has played for the Gold championship in the past. His team has shown they belong.

As for saying it's not fair to automatically assume the best team is in Gold? LOL Why not? The best teams are in Gold, and they prove it in the sustained competition. I'll go one farther. The last 8 teams left in Gold this season were: Tombstone Outlaws, SBWL, NOPW, AC Surf, WVWP, Fighting Gamecocks, Georgia Assault, and DSBM. All 8 should and would be favored over every Silver team. You could probably include TIA, MMD, Deep Throw It, and LSMM in that group as well. This would be assuming the Gold teams took the game seriously and gameplanned. Now, have I really pissed you off? I hope so.

Yeah I get it LE, I know that on average Gold is the top league, no doubt about that, and the season is a grind I'm sure. But my beef with weez is about some people not having any class and belittling silver teams that work just as hard to prove themselves. Tourny's especially if you CARE about them and enter alot of them can work you to death with the scouting and game planning etc...

I've said very little about the whole which Silver team is best drama, I know my team is not it. It's not about me or my team or even my League, its about some of the peewee community here looking down their noses at Silver teams. Next season will be here soon enough and we will make another run. cheers

Tired of watching game film Weezl, there just isn't much there. I slam left, I slam right, kill the clock, thats probably the best game plan..lol

I scout for all my games, the only difference is Do I spend a lot of time or do I do a quick scout. I take all teams serious enough to spend at least an hour on them. Also Mike you have a great team. Keep banging you'll get to gold.

I knew DTit was a good team but I was just using him as an example because I knew you'd blow a gasket if I used your team .
I don't think you really get my point though.

I'm sure you've had some experience with the upper leauges yourself so you can probably agree that you can easily tell if a team is going to suck based upon it's schedule the season before. No uncapped team is gonna be able to restock 55 players and completely turn a program around just because noone is that good at recruiting.

In peewee, however, this is completely different. Because we RESTART every single season, all it really takes is a seasons under your belt, a great coordinator, a good recruiting season, ect. and you can be a top team. Because of this, that's why I said I don't think you can necessarily assume the best teams are in gold.

Juice is actually really cool, but he's pretty sick of the bullshit s4 crap. Like I said I am putting a tourney together to help settle the whole who is best in silver.

I actually find it funny how gay s4 is for each other, most team hate their conference/league.

All I can say is that I'm 1/4 so far in this thread. Here's hoping I pick up a few points in the last 4.

And if Dead.Ed hadn't gotten screwed on penalties and a PR TD, I'd be 0/4.
