Hi everyone!
I am the new Admin and I am going to be spending a lot of time with GLB players helping them improve this game and address their issues and concerns. For more information about what exactly my role will be, please read my 2nd response in the Introduction thread in Announcements.
A little background about me. I have been playing GLB for over a year and have spent a lot of time learning the game and it's various workings. I am very familiar and comfortable with all aspects of the game and feel that this knowledge will allow me to provide a unique Admin perspective.
Three FAQ's that I have seen that I want to address:
#1 - Who was your other account?
Bort, DD, and myself decided that it was best that this not be disclosed for a multitude of reasons. I've already seen multiple threads speculating and while I understand your wanting to know, unfortunately I will not reveal who I was.
#2 - Are you keeping your other account?
This was the only difficult thing about me taking this position because I am a huge fan of GLB and have spent a ton of time playing the game. You could almost call me an addict. The answer to this question is no. My sole purpose here is to work for GLB, to work with all of you, and to make this a better game. This is a dream job for me so I'm not willing to do anything to screw it up.
#3 - Are you going to keep playing the game?
I am, but only with this account. I will not GM or coordinate for teams but I will create players with open builds so I can keep in touch with that side of the game.
