It was actually the first -gate in GLB history

Dong Energy made a phishing site to get all this information such as usernames and passwords, then they used them to sign into people's accounts and switch around their tactics before each game, so they were pretty much unbeatable lol

Not a phishing site at all. It was an alternative forum which promised better (read: less) moderation. It didn't attempt to spoof GLB at all- what it did do was run a cross-site script on anybody visiting it which stole your GLB session data. At the time GLB didn't force auto-log offs after 30 minutes of inactivity, and as such Dong Energy could spoof your session making GLB think that they were you. At no point did Dong Energy come into possession of anybody's passwords.

They also managed to get into Bort's session data at one point in time, which resulted in the hilarious "CHAOS KNIGHT WILL NOT LET THIS THREAD DIE" post

Sounds like you know a little too much about this...

Investigation pending.

S10 was the season before the WL, all the pro leagues were way tougher especially SAPL and CPL. Mayan was also a young team so had significant year on year improvement. They would have done the same thing in CPL in S11.

Not really. The point in posting the score discrepancies was to show just how many close games Mayan had in S10 and how few they had in S11. Even if you take away the CPL teams that were moved up to the World League, Mayan had lost to some of the others who didn't (including badly to K.C.), and three of their S10 wins were only by 3 points each. In S11 they took a great big dump on everyone in SLAP except SOAP and Valhalla.

If I recall correctly, 2 of the 3 good teams in CPL didn't participate (Drinkin' was the one that did). So, even throwing Marblehead and Hali in there doesn't make up for it. Most objective observers saw that CPLs big 3 were better than SAPLs big 3 (as they proved in the PWT that season), but the rest of CPL just wasn't very good, and quite clearly not as deep as SAPL.

Then in S12 they came up to the WL and went 12-4 with hardly any roster changes, better than they did in S10. So obviously the only conclusion is that CPL is better than the WL.

Ask agents on Mayan or anyone who had experience with both leagues. Read GMa's and Jrry's posts itt. Go look up the challenge thread (page 11 SAPL board).

And you won't even admit that 14-2 in SAPL was better than 2-14 in CPL. Lol. I'm done with this silly debate.

I just remembered that Dakar played Providence that season in a tourney game and destroyed them. And tbh, Dakar wasn't that good back then, especially early in the season when we played them (Tasmania Tigers beat us by 40 in Hazy's that season the day after Providence, and I game planned for Tasman, but not the Rads). To put it in perspective, we only had 3 games in APL that we beat teams as bad as we beat the Radicals that season. One was a gutted team. One was actually a playoff team that we had a lolsim against and just went nuts 97-17. And then one was against another lower end team. So, the Rads were arguably a 3-13 team in APL that season while we're picking random unrelated evidence to compare by.

To claim that the Radicals have only improved a little since that time is ludicrous. That team is so much stronger than they were even at this point last season. But wtf does this have to do with this thread anyways, lol.

USA will probably win one of these at some point.

*sigh*

adding in marblehead and halifax doesn't just get cpl two more wins. it then gives every CPL team a matchup 2 slots easier. with halifax and marblehead it's probably close to a sweep for CPL.
