Impressively, we have 13 USA teams and 14 SEA teams for the challenge. It would be perfect if we could add one more USA team. We are working on our seeding, so that we can matchup #1, v #1, etc. We are just going to use our coach's poll and mesh the two conferences.

Since it is only a one game deal, we don't have to worry about starting it early and we can wait until most of the tournament action is over. Even so, the sooner we get the pairings going, the easier it is to plan, etc.

The team we need to get up for this is the Blazing Chocolate Turtles (nee Chocolate City Cha Chings). Very solid club, always well prepared, probably the odds on favorite in the East (imo).

Pm him imo. I'd do it but I'm pretty sure I'm not on PT's good side.

I am not sure on the last comment. If I understand what happened during the offseason it is basically the second club to the New Jersey Blaze. Granted I believe 3 solid teams ended up making 2, so I guess it is up in the air how good both the Blaze and TBCT are after.

Damn it. What'd I say?

Its more proof. My HB starts on PDD and he isn't even good enough to start on a gutted USAPro team.

Hey! We are the youngest team in SEA Pro. Teams think of us as a gutted team so we are close enough lol

OK, I'm not up to speed on the maneuverings of other teams--I barely have time enough to handle my own!--so I could be basing this more off prior history than the current roster. I'll defer to those who have better information than I.

You likely aren't far off if at all. I'm guessing they will still be one of the top teams with a chance to pull away and certainly would be good in this challenge. Overall a lot of things seem up in the air right now, but we should have a good idea by game 4 or 5.

So who won the challenge? (sorry if this has been answered already, I didn't have time to read the whole thread.)

We'll probably finalize our rankings after the week 4 owner's poll, so that might be a good time to formalize the pairings.

Oh jesh, that means we actually have to rank ourselves.

I vote we take an average of Track and jp's.

I wanna be ranked last, cause I'm pretty sure we can take their 14th best team.

That math dude's rankings are terrible, though; he thinks the Mighthawks and Bortsville are equivalent. Clearly the best solution is for the supercomputer to confer with oinky the pig and merge the results. All we would ask in return is that the league challenge be renamed, "The USA-SEAPL League Challenge as brought to you by the Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals," but that shouldn't really be a problem.
