Teams are in different leagues. IE; conferences, divisions, ect.... GOLD, SILVER, COPPER , East, West how many teams all together 13,000? Or is that to high?
CFL that plays a lesser ranked scheduled opponents that wins there cup is better than an NFL team that doesn't win? Or even a playoff team for that matter?
Many Gold Teams played tougher schedules consistently and didn't have time off unless you had Tokyo on your schedule.
I wish I had a few games I could of overlooked, so we could game plan 2-3 days on an opponent. We couldn't unfortunately we had to take every game seriously, as many were not blow outs. Or risk being Demoted. Silver had no where to go but up. There is a hell of a lot more pressure and competition to succeed in Gold. That is why you saw NO undefeated Team. Hell even the best of the best teams will say they had to have there game face on daily imo.
How many cupcake teams did a Silver get to play opposed to a gold team is the Question that should be asked.
Strength of schedule should be implemented into any kind of ranking system and should be the main common denominator. Ala BCS
