I am a GM in the WL, and I Feel terrible for every person in this league that got screwed by it. Your only affiliation is you are a GM on a team that cheated everyone. fwiw hand combing teams is a very important aspect in the complex social life of gorillas. It helps indicate their social status, while also keeping everybody free of lice, and providing a good source of protein.

I think people are blowing Lincoln's "merge" out of proportion. We got exactly 5 players from WW and 5 players from OFG from the "merge". The rest are all free agents, recruits, agents who heard what we were doing and wanted to join.

Exactly. I'm not trying to condemn Halifax either, I'm saying it's not a big deal. Are all the teams here telling me they never picked up a small group of players from a team here or there on their way to the top? I find that hard to believe. We also do have a large group of core agents who have been on the team since day 1. I've known the Navs guys since S2, and I joined I think around S4.

when did this colluding thing come down to "merging teams"?

In my mind the big stink right now is colluding as it relates to two separate teams, working in concert in a game which they play each other, to guarantee a certain outcome or result.

Outcome was already guaranteed, fwiw. Haliblack just made it more interesting.
