I think FB's are pretty easy to build. A blocker or rusher pretty much need the same skills, but you pick the specific SA tree for your build.

^ not really. You need great speed, agility, vision, strength, and tackling with a dose of stamina and catching. Top it off with some awesome special abilities and you are done!

I wanna say DE because to be productive your strength has to be on par with your speed and agility and vision are very important too...and how can i forget tackling and stamina.

I don't understand how QB is the hardest position to build? You only need like a few key stats and then you just need your special abilities..

LBers and SS both need similar attributes, with 8 or 9 being fairly important.
From experience I know building a WR is challenging. They need alot of SP assigned to a lot of different areas to be consistently effective. I mean, you can load up on catching but if you dont give 'em agility or speed they never get open. Ditto that for jumping and vision...and how do you stop the drops? It's tough.

There are no successful Scrambling QBs in the NFL or GLB today so I don't understand why everyone is trying to build one.. You have to spread your attributes out through a wide variety of attributes, you should focus on being a pocket passer..

I wanna say Tight End also... you need to be a good blocker and at the same time be a recieving threat. You look for everything you look for in a WR but more blocking and more strength.
Edit: Also carrying.. of a WR but that fits into the "everything you look for in a WR"

I would not really say that a TE is the hardest , considering that most NFL TE's can either block or catch .
You don't really see those guys that can both block and receive really well .
I think WR is a tough one , needing speed and agility to get open , use vision to find the holes in the defence , jumping for the high balls , catching to get the ball of course , carrying and strength to make the YAC . And confidence if you want to make that important catch after dropping one .

Hah, I lolŽed at he people saying LB because you have to plan your players development. Jeez how hard can that be? No player in GLB can be a jack of all trades. Specializing is the way to go. Try to make a player that is good at everything and you fail at all.
With that said I personally think TEs esp receiving/balanced ones are damn hard to build. A close second gotta be FS/SS.

Sorry I couldn't really understand your post. But in defense of LBers.. you need to be solid in 8+ attributes to be a good balanced LB. Balanced TEs are hard to build as well. But how aren't LBs hard to create well?
