Beav is the best in SEA history imo.

Texan I appreciate the love. When Nizzle first got a chance to play in seapro Ricky was the bees knees. I personally think Beav is better because he had a longer more productive SEAPro career. If Ricky wouldn't have left he would probably have put Beav to shame.

Edit: Thanks to Plank for repping too. He had a lot conversation with me on what ESL needed him to be....a Champion.

Ricky has done it for longer and mostly split carries for the benefit of the team.

So many of Beav's yards were against gutted teams and 140+ to 0 games:

I played against Beav and he was certainly good, but Ricky has been consistently great his entire career and played against better competition in CPL and the WL when he wasn't in SEAPL.

That would be like saying that Barry Bonds get eliminated as the best player to play on a AAA team because he was playing in the major leagues instead of a lifetime AAA player.

(no offense to SEAPL - the league is very good quality now in Naga at least from #1 to #9 or #10, but it wasn't always that way).

Don't make Ricky play another season and prove he can tear up SEAPL with 2 full seasons in decline.

Either that or just moved to a more competitive league like CPL in the case of Ricky Watters, where he ran over the best teams in the game like Halifax, Dryden, Marblehead, Cheetahs, etc. No one in SEAPL at the time compared to any of those teams, nor the Adriana Lima Beans. Then Watters did the same thing in the World League with the Krazy Monkeys. I think you need to check Watters' history.

Very comparable running ability and statistics in big games. Beav definitely inflated his numbers in blowouts although he performed well against good teams also.

The 2 players did match up at least once in the last 5 seasons:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=818030

Beav: 13 carries, 42 yards (3.3 ypc), 0 TDs
Watters: 24 carries, 113 yards (4.7 ypc), 0 TDs

The other time I faced Beav:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=716014

Beav: 16 carries, 56.5 yards (3.5 ypc), 1 TD

Total vs Tony Dungy that I can find:
Beav: 29 carries for 98 yards (3.4 ypc), 1 TD

Excuse me if that doesn't make me want to scream....best of all time in SEAPL

Granted... any rushing TD and anything over 3 ypc is pretty good against my defenses though.

It doesn't matter what Ricky did in CPL, this is the SEA Pro HoF and Beav has done a ton more in SEA.

Ya playing all those seasons in Seapro were against gut jobs. BTW Beav is retired this season. He's at home banging Ricky's wife while Ricky takes another last run at glory in a conference which obviously is below anything he did while playing elsewhere. Like I said earlier if Watters stays instead of leaving this wouldn't even be a conversation, but to talk down to the acclompishments, and overall enjoyment that I had having Beav play here is just bad taste. Ya your great at dotball, blah blah blah. At least everyone who was here for the post Ricky Watters era knows that there were some great games had by the Nizzle over a long period of time.

edit: Beav also split carries for the last 4-5 seasons of his career. Also because it was best for the team. Nizzle, Biel, and IYDC all had to share carries as great as all of them were. I don't get it why people talk shit about SEAPRO but then take offense if there not considered the best ever in what they consider to be a shit conference.
