Exactly what I was saying before. Every team in USAPro would have more fun and competitiveness, so we all lose. In terms of our record, well I don't value that at all this season, so I'm not losing anything in terms of "losing games" as I don't value winning games presently due to my disinterest in the current setup of the game. So the losing of games that you see doesn't affect me in any way, they are all irrelevant to me.

Look your point is well heard. But the least you could do is field a FULL team 50-55 guys so the guys that are on your team don't have to play for a hard headed set in his ways owner. Shit I've been living with this for years I am a Raider Fan dealing with Al Davis.

I'm not having fun with the game for more reasons than just the roster limit, thus I didn't want to spend any time this season in trying to recruit a 55 man team, cause I don't find anything appealing in competing in a 55-man game, i'm just not interested in that, it's ridiculous and silly to me.

I'll compete aggressively as soon as I find something logical to compete for.

Speaking of logic, why don't you sell if you aren't having fun and can't find a reason to aggressively compete. What is the point of sitting there holding a team with 43 players that spend money to boost each season if you aren't going to even try?

If anyone on Detroit is looking for a good team with a good owner then shoot me a PM. I don't have room on my team but we have a good network of great owners that would probably really enjoy having a quality player to help them compete. Your player will perform better due to better depth on the team and be able to put up better stats, your player will help a contending team win games and you will be part of a great team forum as well as having equipment paid for.

I am, I have given Gronert full powers of the team and he has recruited a bunch of GMs as well. I did that for exactly the reason you describe because if I'm not having fun with the team I'd rather allow other people to come in and try to have fun with the team.

It's not like I won't be doing anything next year though, I'm just not spending a vast amount of time in the game like I used to back in the earliest seasons when I found the game much more appealing.

I really don't understand why the game is fun with 35-40 man rosters, but not fun for 50-55 man rosters. Oh noes, my dots aren't on the field as much! Just create 2 WRs instead of 1, and share the glory between them or something.

It stuns me that you don't see why this game would be more fun with a smaller roster. All I can say is search all of my posts in the last 30 days and I give lots of reasons for why. If you disagree then you disagree, it shocks me when I see that other people don't follow the logic for why the game would be much better, there's so many reasons of why it would be better, and a LOT more people would be having fun as opposed to a smaller amount that are having fun now.

Yeah, searching... guess you haven't tried that since Season 1.

And yes, I typically don't read your posts. You get the ball more often and get more stats with smaller rosters. So just create twice as many players. Oh noes, it costs twice as much now!

Why wouldn't I have tried searching since Season 1?

Anyhow, you should read my posts, they are easy to find and very informative on the rationale for the smaller rosters. I think you would agree with me if you read my points.

Since you suggested using a feature that hasn't worked since you were relevant in the game. I tend to avoid reading the GLB general forum and suggestions forum, as the signal to noise ratio is very bad. Knowing you have lots of well thought out posts there reinforces this.

The Search feature works just fine, sounds like you just don't know how to use it. It's pretty simple, you just type in my name and hit the filter for USAPro, and you will find everything you need right there on the first one or two pages.

Wow, I haven't tried forum search in so long since I thought it was broken!

If you would have put this in your guide, I might have paid $40 for that tip.
