About this bashing, pre-playoffs I thought the Spartans would go all the way like just about everyone else, I heard the Spartans GM messaged the Thunders gm congraluating them and for that I hold him in a high regard. But I dont understand why truCarl cant just say well played, you won, better luck next year I guess.

i'm going to go with the "we didn't get outplayed, we got beat" mentality here, you can throw a bunch of retarded monkeys on an ice rink with the Red Wings and eventually someone will score a goal it was 2 long pass plays that pointed out our weakness rather well, with a special teams TD which happens once and a while happened on top of it

if any of the 3 mistakes didnt happen or if we actually put 1 of our 6 FG attempts into the endzone we'd have been fine lol

Okay then why didn't you guys throw it long on us two times. Our CBs and WRs are better than you guys and that proved to be the difference.

It wasn't an accident. We knew you guys weakness and took advantage of it.

I think he just said that the 11 Wise Monkeys could beat the Red Wings at Hockey!

CBs better...maybe kept us shut out a bit better than ours did

WRs better...well thats a matter of opinion - i personally would rather have a consistent offense, one that can march down the field instead of just throwing up passes and hoping 1 hits a reciever that has a nice headstart

throwing up 2 long bombs and having them land is VERY nice and i cringed everytime i watched them, but that doesn't make a better offense

if we had deflected, intercepted, sacked the QB or whatever just 1 more time haha (hell if we could have converted 1 of our 6 FG attempts into a TD), thats all we would have needed - consistency is the key to wins, not landing hail marys


look at the play-by-play, hell just look at the box scores and you can see that

you won and i congratulate you for that fact, but please dont tell me that you're the better team at the end of the day...not to sound too cocky, but you were outplayed, BUT you also got off 2 very nice passes and a KR

you beat us, you found the weakness and exploited it, and it could have been even worse if you got your hands wrapped on a few more of those long passes

your strategy was solid but a very risky choice - it paid off for you and that is great for you, but if anyone thinks that we wont patch that hole ASAP you're dead wrong, hell ill make the CBs myself if i have to

i am just trying to express that the topic of our weakness had already come up, and the early exit from the playoffs will make sure that everyone focuses on fixing the problem this season

I have to say that, for a meaningless scrimmage game, the Nighthawks victory over the OKC Spartans was very satisfying. I'm sure there are lots of good reasons as to why the 3rd place team in the East managed to pull out a win over the juggernauts of the West, but it still felt good.

i honestly dont know if we did any odd tactics so im not gonna cry or congradulate

chimpy said something about playing with some of the blitz and other stuffs for grins - either way got beat long again
