Favre thrives with these speed guys. Sidney Rice needs to stay healthy tho.

Not really. Rice is unproven and hurt all the time, maybe if he stays healthy like you said, he might have some production but definitely not a credible threat. Berrian, when did he have these great seasons cause i must have missed them. Hes a deep threat and nothing more.

So where are the other weapons?

And this isnt the same Favre we are talking about here. I love the guy and hes one of my all time favorites...........but, hes not gonna be the same Favre that made nobodies into good recievers. Just before the surgery, he couldnt even throw 10 reps at the high school practices he was working out at, his arm was that bad. Now given the surgery might help, i just dont see him regaining his old form. This is a guy that thrives on his arm strength and without it, well, we'll see.

I guess I consider 900 yards and 5 tds pretty solid when considering who is throwing him the ball and how much. I think hes certainly 1000+ yards with Favre at the helm...

You can't get me with this Favre is over bs...Elway had the same injury, came back the next season without surgery and went on to win a pair of Super Bowls. If he comes back....hes obviously looking pretty stellar to himself and the Vikings.

As far as other weapons...3 WR's, 2 HB's isnt enough? Heck Bobby Wade isnt bad for a #4. Pretty good slot guy.

You give the Vikes more credit than i do thats for sure. Right now, the only constant they have as a threat is AD, period. Their D is good but we'll see how the Williams play this season and how the rest of them play out.

Favre also hits 40 in October, Elways was what, 36 when that happened? Favre also relies alot more on his cannon than Elway and forces alot more throws. If he doesnt have the strength, imagine what his Int numbers are gonna be. Lets not get fooled by delusions of grandeur here, Favre isnt gonna be leading the Vikes to Superbowls.

Just too many people think Favre can just walk in and lead the Vikes to a Superbowl and its not gonna happen. Hell we still dont know if hes even gonna play for them.

favre sucks, im sick of hearing about him. He is better that what they got, buts thats like saying Keynon is less annoying than me... The Vikes have no damn WRs because the team is built to run the ball...

i get the unfortunate ability to have to watch them on a consistent basis living on the MN/WI border. So I watch both GB and MN quite a bit. I just think MN is a top tier team with or without Brett Favre at the helm...and throwing him there certainly makes them SB contenders. I don't see how it doesn't.

36/37...40...splitting hairs with this really. The point is if Brett comes out, he and MN obviously thinks hes got it. Meaning the difference between Elway and Favre at this point in their careers would be minimal. The great part for Elway was that he had Terrell Davis to carry the load of the team, which led to him being better as well. This is the same situation for Favre.

I just don't think there is a team in MN's way that is really that solid. And that includes the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.

Wow, your not even a Packers fan, your just mixed up.

With that, there not much point left debating this, as you are as deluded as the rest of the Vikes fans, lol.

Minny, a top tier team...............LOL.

As far as Minny bringin him in cause they think hes still got it. They are desperate for wins in Minny, if Elway was interested they would probably bring him in and the people would clamor that even HE makes the Vikes SB contenders, lol.

Come on they arent that desperate...they told Jeff George to fuck off!

I am 100% green and gold all the way...but i usually play the this is what isnt good about us game until i am proved wrong and that makes me happy..

Correct me if im wrong but MN won the division last year right? 4th best record in the NFC...i would call that top tier. I am not sure what you call it.

Yea they did, first time since 2000 they have had a half decent team, unless you count their BS WC win in 03/04. Far from top tier though. They have alot to prove still. Favre doesnt guarantee anything for them.

You sure your a Packers fan? Be happy for the team, dont just cheer for them when they are doing well.

I cheer the Packers at any point in time....whether it be 4-12 or 12-4....i just know we are coming off a 6-10 season and are delivering an entire new scheme to our gameplan. Things like that usually don't pan out well for teams.
