Greene put Lincoln on his back and carried that team to heights they will never reach again. Greene is unstoppable on the goalline, sustains drives, converts 4th downs at a high clip, and makes the other backs on his team better because teams gameplan around my player and not theirs. The 4.5 yards/carry in season 8 was because he was being incorrectly utilized. 428 out of the 439 carries were straight up the gut against 8 men boxes in USA Pro. 11 pitches the entire season. That, and the fact that your QB SUCKS DICK (pretty fuckin' obvious last year, it's like he tried to throw INTs), is the reason why Greene not longer a Nav and why Lincoln will be watching from home this postseason.

Not quite Ryan. Seems like your memory has faded so I'll help you out. Greene had already signed a Season 9 extension. In the offseason, he was released. The stuff between the contract extension and the release is between you, me, and the guys on the Navs who were made aware of the situation.

Suffice it to say -- you were released from the organization. Interestingly, not a single person on the team has ever mentioned how much we missed the legendary Shonn Greene.

FWIW, running pitches with 8 guys in the box is a good idea -- but not when you are boasting 70 speed. Perhaps with your legendary knowledge of GLB offense you could take on the OC role for a USAPL team?

I signed a season 9 extension, but I was released from the organization at my request. You can look at it your way, I'll look at it mine, and we'll both be correct.

My legendary knowledge wouldn't declare a RB too slow to run pitches when you're doing it out of the Strong I to the strong side in season 8. 70 speed worked just fine for a specific formation of pitch. I posted the facts, but they were ignored purposely. 9 were for TD/big gain/1 broken tackle away, 2 were blown up by good Minnesota DE play. Mix in a few of those pitches and Greene's YPC would have gone up in a hurry.

I've OCed for three years and have a gold and two silvers, same as you with the Navs. I took an inferior team and whooped the Navs' ass in season 4 and narrowly lost to you guys 43-41 in season 5. Judging by your team's builds, you guys should have blown us out by 20 both times.

He's too busy with a middle of the pack AAA2 team that hasn't won a playoff game in 2-3 seasons

Damn good read but this is meant to be a constructive thread, for Lincoln, not Shonn Greene. Shonn Greene's team will be in the playoffs, so he'll have plenty todo after day 32.
