OTR would like to announce we have brought on one of the great minds in all of GLB to take over as offensive coordinator.

Everyone please give a warm welcome to our new OC:

this addition will bring us that much closer to the title.

I thought you wanted to win...

I thought you wanted to win when you came running to the Beans a couple of seasons ago to see if we needed a QB?

Were you trying to join a losing team?

Then OTR ask why none like them.

Gart, SI, JK~ and Ubasstard? Pfft, worst team in GLB.

Gart removed, SI added IMO.

So you removed a guy with a CPL title and USA PRO Conference title for someone who has never won jack shit. Nice move JK, whats next Hiring this guy to be the build advisor.

BTW his WR is as bad as the LB

It isn't as easy to win if you don't have a loaded team. Anyone can win a USPL title with a loaded roster of the highest level, best builds in the game like the Evil Monkeys.

Oh wait.

SI doesn't win when it counts, learn comprehension, IMO

last person off the bandwagon with the Zonk avatar? Find a new trend to be the last person in on and last person to realize is over.

jfbueno is an always has been a follower.

CV drags a piece of meat around on the floor and bueno follows.

We can only hope this goes as well as the SI Tim Harper pairing

SI posted about it more days than he lasted as OC.

I dont think he OC'ed for TH

I didn't OC for even 1 second.

In fact, I didn't end up doing anything for that team since TH never gave me any control to offer contracts or OC/DC.

Stobie was the OC, Harper was the DC. Can't blame any of their losses on me.

Will their offense be more creative than Pittsburgh's?

yes

Always wondered about Pittsburgh. They've got just as much talent as any one of us but often seem to be dull in the play calling and under achieve. If that team ever really got the game planning down they'd be scary hard to beat.

Really?

What talent do they have on the O-line? Starks was a back-up who was regularly beat in pass protection. Hartwig was a Titan cast-off. Kemo was a 6th round pick or something, and is too short and squatty to deal with good DTs. Stapleton was undrafted and serviceable, not dominant by any means. Ward is old and has no speed as he limps around the field. Parker hurt himself and missed the playoffs the year before and only was getting back to form near the end of last season (maybe).

Holmes is very talented. That is true. He's the only passing threat we have. Miller is a solid all-round TE, but certainly no Gates or anything offensively. Sweed has lots of talent, but so did Dwayne Jarrett and many others. It still hasn't been proven that Sweed's hand is 100% after that injury in college. He's still missing easy passes.

I just don't see all this talent you are talking about. If you watch Steelers games, the offense is pretty much have Ben drop back and avoid the 1-2 blitzers and/or missed blocks and pump fake over and over until someone finally gets open. The WRs create little space and scare no one if the defense doubles Holmes.

I think the offense overachieved with the little talent we have. Ben, Holmes, and Miller are the only offensive 1st or 2nd round picks who played a decent amount.
