I have 450k flex . If I wanted to boost I would. The entire point of peewee is to save boosts for playoffs or not boost at all so we can have a equal tactic game.

To quote the thread title, what kind of loser has spent enough on this game to have 450k flex points! Cognrats on spending $1000 on GLB! I would hope you get a t-shirt out of that too.

He's not known for being the smartest guy on GLB, TBH...

1) Boosting during the preseason = stupid (ruins training, decreases experience earned)
2) Boosting at the start of the season = stupid because of #1, great for MVP race stats.
3) Boosting mid season = stupid because of #1, unless you won't make playoffs otherwise.
4) Boosting late season = less stupid because of #1, might be the right thing to do.
5) Boosting to start playoffs = smart if you need it to advance
6) Boosting to end playoffs = smart

Anyone who says otherwise has a differing opinion.

Doesn't matter while I agree it is best to do it this way it IS the person paying to boost to decide WHEN he wants to boost it IS his cash after all.

Arguing about when to boost peewee players is stupid....A high percentage of peewee players are 1 season players only and are retired afterward....If you want to slow build slow build but do not get on a high horse bitching about players getting boosted early. 90% of the peewee players i create are only created for a season and are then retired so getting maximum EXP or the best training results are invalid winning is all that matters.

I don't bitch when people boost early. I own my own players and try to run them a certain way. I played boosted teams in the preseason, so I was able to test my defense against much tougher players (I didn't even drop my skill points until after my third game because I was playing the CPU in games 1,2, and 3). I retire all of my players at the edn of the season, and I don't care if we lose a regular season game or not. The top eight teams from each side are getting in, and there is no home field advantage bonus in Pee Wee. My players are built for championship dotball and that's it.

I'm not telling people that they can or cannot build their player the way they want to, I'm just letting you know how to build a championship team.

Let's be honest here, the real losers are the ones that run 90+% of the time because they're terrified of passing because it doesn't work that well.

To phase it completely out is an act of cowardice. Cowards = Losers. I'd rather go 5-11 with a team that passes 40-60% of the time than be the epitome of boring and pointless by running.

Yeah, I know all you care about is winning. I don't care. My point is valid regardless.

Oh and this from the OP before he plays me with his 100% run team that was created around Day 30 to give them as much possible edge.. versus a half CPU, pass happy team.

there is nothing wrong in boosting early - but it would give you a disadvantage later on..

you made no actual points aside from cowards = losers, which is just throwing a new name on someone you dont like, not a point.

So basically someone's mad because they're not going to get seeded as high when the playoffs come?

Weak.

I WISH there was a non-boosting pee-wee league. If there was, I'd probably have a mental breakdown and create my own entire team (just under $100) but that price quadruples if they all have to boost for the playoffs.

I'd like to see this also but it will never happen as it doesn't make business sense!

I doubt I'll be boosting, I'm in a relatively weak league with only a few team boosting a few players, so I'll save the flex and just have fun with it to see how far I can get.

While we're on the topic of never going to happen pipe dreams. While we got our non-boosting league how bout we also make it a 2 player per agent cap league, since we're handicapping teams abilities to get a leg up through boosting, lets also handicap owners by making them take part in the essence of playing a MMO, dealing with other people. I mean hell, running a whole team of just my players, I can get that in Football Mogul or Front Office Football.

Dude, it is not at all out of line to boost special teams players early. They are not deciding the game - GTFO!
