^ or better yet, you may want to limit the discussion to the only sport state has won a national championship in, in the last couple decades....bass fishing

well, since this is football, it should be rather quiet for both of you as of late.
however, in fairness, State has won two more ACC titles than the heels.

Just got a #1 at the drive through at McD's. Got great service from the kid at the window. Things sure are looking up for TA McClendon.

The Elite Sea Team shouldn't be overlooked at all, we have the hardest last 5 game schedule and have already gone 2-2 with very strong showings in close losses to higher ranked opponents.

..well that was a quick discussion!
Since I am sure 90% of the people on this board don't care about our little rivalry I will try to put an end to any debates with one word, SCOREBOARD.
Alltime record[6] North Carolina: 63; NC State: 28; Ties: 6

You were not overlooked by us. Good win today but things will be different in the playoffs
Edit: maybe our O-coordinator did, he gameplanned while drunk...I need to talk to him about his drinking

HeelRaiser,
It's kinda funny...NC State and UNC-CH are about even in the series since NC State went co-ed and no longer made ROTC required. As they say to high school kids..."It's all about the ladies".
<3 Willie Parker - Such a fan of the Carolina that he only mentions his high school during introductions! LOL! What idiot did y'all have in which a pro-bowler couldn't even get a snap and is now one of the best RB's in the pros!

Can't help it if State was "All about the Gents" early on, and as far as Willie goes, do a little research before you make assumptions. Besides the fact that Willie's speed style rushing didn't fit the power game that the program was building towards, the poor guys best friend was murdered his sophmore year(the same year in which there was a coaching change). His own father has even said that Willie fell apart, and despite efforts to get through to him by the coaches he shut them out and refused to buy into their system. But I guess everybody saw what a talent he was, that's why he was undrafted. I have nothing bad to say about Willie, but it's obvious that there were many factors that went into his slump at UNC.
Continue to use individual occurences in your determination of which program is better, as stupid as it may sound I will continue to use something crazy called head to head W-L record.

We'll see, its a likely playoff matchup and most of our team is clearly outmatched. But any opponent for the Sea Team will be a tough road matchup, but we've competed well with all(?) possible 3 opponents (Austin, Hawaii, and Texas), and all in the last week. Next season should be fantastic in this league.
