Yeah he was thought to be the #2 OT early behind Andre Smith.

He was actually considered a 15-25 pick for most of the pre-draft thing and I never saw him as a top 10 projected until Todd Mcshay randomly had him at #10 to San Fran night before the draft but up until that point, no.
Most people actually predicted there to be a run of OTs to all go at once, but that never happened.

Oher>>Crabtree wouldve been a retarded pick to be honest, still amazed at Al Davis' pure stupidity and the Niners stroke of blind luck.
Retarded? How is it retarded to draft a Franchise LT(prob the saftest pick you can make) > A WR that has no decent QB.....that makes no sense.

GBay had a good draft but I dont think its the "best" like Mel dipshit Kiper says. Definitely a good pickup with Raji but Matthews??Mauluga not the best pick whether hes an OLB or not.
Matthews is solid, alot of people had him going to the Texans early.

Eagles might have had the best draft value-wise. As an Eagles fan, this is gonna sound biased but bear with me.
You prob did, but the NFL draft is unpredictable so nothing is really shocking when someone you think will go high falls.

1st (19)--traded up from 21 to snag Jeremy Maclin, best returner and 2nd best WR in draft (thx Al Davis), biggest steal of the 1st round.
Not even close.
Crabtree to #10 was a bigger steal.
Orakpo falling past like 6 3-4 teams to a team that lost Jason Taylor is bigger to.
Oher to 25 is argueable.
I agree Maclin is prob the best returner, but definatley not the 2nd best pure WR. You could argue he may be top 3 downfield threat. Nicks, Britt, Robiskie, and Crabtree are better WRs.

1st (28)- gor from Carolina for last seasons 1st (which they used to pick Otah) and then traded this pick for Jason Peters. Otah for Peters?? haha. good trade gives us a top 5 LT
Yeah im pretty sure Peters lead in sacks allowed last year. Ill take Joe Thomas, Marcus McNeil, Tony Ugoh, Micheal Roos, Jake Long, Ryan Clady, Matt Light, and a handfull of other vet LTs > Peters any day. Peters isnt that fast, agile, or quick on his toes to excell in pass blocking. Not even close to the best run blocking LT either. Not sure where that thought came from. Otah could end up better.

2nd--Lesean Mccoy: #4 rb in draft behind Moreno, Wells and Brown. Better than Brown IMO (idk why the hell Brown went over Wells) and is the best receiving back of all of em. Essentially a Westbrook clone, and our eventual starter by 2012
You said it, he's Westbrook 2.0 which is why I dont understand the pick tbh.

5th-Cornelius Ingram- top 4 TE and was drafted behind many TEs that he is clearly better than (for example Richard Quinn picked by Denver #64, terrible pick)
He's basically another WR on the field, nice pick. Denver has a starting TE for sure, they can afford to hope Quinn ends up a steal.

5th--Victor Macho Harris--very underrated CB and one of the top playmakers in draft. A bit too much of a risk-taker but wll be just fine as a nickelback or 3rd safety in passing situations. Not a great fundamentalist but a great ballhawk.
I dont really know what to say about this pick. He plays the run good though.

So um all of our 1st 4 picks can be considered steals and went 10+ picks below where they were projected. No character issues and we traded one pick for an elite LT
?uestions anyone? filled several needs as well and didnt waste a pick on Pettigrew in 1st but smartly waited for value at that position later and snagged the most explosive WR in draft (Maclin>>Harvin)
Harvin > Maclin. Not only is Harvin as fast, if not faster, possibly a better return man(dont really know), a better WR, but Harvin is strong as hell. The complete package for a WR cept he lacks size.
Eagles had a good draft, if only they had a better QB to get all these WRs, recieving HBs and TEs the ball more they'd prob be better.
If they dont totally choke, and their defense plays tough(can't imagine they wont under Johnson) then Philly should/could win the NFC.
