a) this tournament didn't have 8 teams, it had 256 teams. It's just that only 8 of them qualified for bracket stage.

b) anybody who tried to win in a tournament that had MEM in the field are idiots. notice how the only tournament without them is the only one where we're playing well? hmmmm.

c) traveling trophy on the line, dotcetera.

It would be great if this tournament could somehow be run with last season's sim. Most of these teams are much different with the changes in season 8. The Bullets for instance are going to be hard pressed to make the playoffs.

Or last seasons rosters for that matter. Without rushing this tournament in the off season, it doesn't really seem possible though.

It also wouldn't really be fair to run using last seasons sim, because most of these teams will have adjusted to better fit this seasons sim already.

For the most part however, teams are playing out how they did last season. Halifax and WSI being the class of season 7, with the Benitos a half step behind them. Looks like we'll have a Halifax and WSI in the finals with Benitos in third. N
