anyone else ever notice that when Bort does these "cutesy" type things that they never work out well (see main forum post...Even he doesn't like it). At the same time, his current sim leaves dots laying all over the field after each play (sure, 1-3 players may get caked or slip on any given play, but 4-15 or more is a bit excessive, even in Pee Wee FB), HBs & WRs are still running out of bounds when they shouldn't be (Hummmmmmm, I've got a clear path to the end zone and no defenders in front of me...I think running out of bounds would be a good idea. I might get tired otherwise and I need to save myself for the next play) and God only knows if time outs have even been looked at.

I've got nothing at all against the Bullets, CCCC or any other team getting a bunch of endorsements or any of the players. Honestly, I'm cool with that. His Gay Lover's Mauler Lover Shoes actually made me LOL. Frankly, I'd be pissed if I was any of those players and Bort ended up taking it away from me, as he's debating, and this 1/2 ssn redo option is a crock of shit, IMO...May as well turn GLB into Bush League baseball, where teams make massive changes 1/2 way through ssn.

Bort just always seems to do these things half assed and they never play out well. Just curious, wasn't the test server created to make it so shit didn't mess up the real game? If so, why wasn't this tested on there 1st and why are the above problems still problems? Not a rip on the test guys. They have no control over that stuff. Just seems Bort's priorities are messed up far too often and that he just wings stuff way too often

How's that saying go? Measure twice, cut once. Why even give them out if they're not ready to go? Isn't this the kind of stuff that the testers are supposed to find out before it goes live?

Well, they're kind of like communism. Great idea in theory, completely asinine in execution.

I honestly do believe Bort is both an intelligent person and truly wants this game to kick ass. Unfortunately, every time he does things without thinking, it hurts the game and puts a big time hurt on both many of his customers' faith in the game and his own credibility. We're all human and we all make mistakes. The best advice Bort could get would be that this has turned into more than a basement business and needs to be treated as such. Between things being done without forethought, inadequate testing and DD's forum antics, it's been coming off more and more like a 3 Stooges ep lately...and that isn't a very good business model.

I'm glad that there's some randomness to it. Otherwise, the same players would win it every year.

Don't know if this was aimed at me or not, but I'm sure not calling for them to be stripped, redone or anything of the sort. I think that'd be a major screw job to those that got them. I'm not complaining about who got them or anything of the sort. My bitch is Bort adding new things things and then wanting a do over because he didn't think it through or test it, while ignoring aspects of the game that need obvious attention.

If it makes you guys feel any better. CCCC got 8 endorsement deals. 1 went to a WR that is now on another USA Pro team. 4 went to dedicated special teams players. So this left us with 3 endorsement deals for players that will actually see the field. None of them boosted an entire tree and most of them had a mix of points but in the end, they come out to a solid piece of AEQ that has been upgraded once or twice, that is about it.

While yes he does tend to do things sometimes without thinking that hurts the game..Majority of what he does that hurts it even more is bending to the will of those people who constantly Whine and whine and complain about things that are in the game that they feel needs to be changed.I am not talking about actual bugs or glitches..I am talking about those who said Strength needs to be changed..why am I getting ran over..Speed this...Agility that... I have seen it posted time and time again my numerous posters most recently I believe was ITS and its basically Bort needs to stop bailing people out for making Shitty builds and when they reach the level that their crappy players are now being exposed they want something to change instead of the change being on their part and learning from it and making a better one next time.. I know that rant had nothing to do with equipment..but alot with what messes the game up

I think Bort's biggest failing is in not working with the community. In the end I think the stuff I can see from the Bort tracker will lead t a much better endorsement setup. I just think handing out 1 piece per position per league on a pseudo random basis is just a HUGE bellyache waiting to happen.

That is one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is that he doesn't know what he is doing a lot of the time, didn't seem to have a forward thinking plan on how the sim would work at this level, or hasn't thought things through enough. So he makes changes and announcements that make no sense and relies on the community to fix it for him so that it works in a way that makes sense.

There are examples of your scenario, and there are examples of mine. And in each scenario you have people putting forward logical arguments that make sense for their point of view, and those that are jackasses asking for refunds. So it is often difficult to tell the difference.
