Look at Julius Dee the one who popularized the speed DE. The DE he has only has 1 sack in two games. It's a lot less then his 3 sack a game avg he had last year. IMO it's a good thing DE's have been toned down. The sacks were getting crazy last season.
One thing you will notice sweeping across the board. There are speed end with no str. and speed ends with a good amount of str. Guess which ones aren't suffering so much this season. I bet you every single speed end who is suffering this season has under capped str. I bet the speed ends who are still plugging away have at least capped or better str.
