Wrong. Inflation has always existed. The first "Great" Depression of the 1880's experienced inflation around 9-10 percent due to the over investment of railroads.

so i was off by 20 yrs, shoot me. And being off by 20 years isnt enough proof to say inflation has always existed.

If you think inflation is strictly a 19th-20th century thing then maybe you need a lesson in European History.

If you're going to keep dissing us for beating bad teams in close games, you also should give us credit for losing in very close games to playoff teams. We pretty much have to beat one of OKC, Minnesota, or SF, so next weeks (aka 2 days from nows) game is pretty big. Columbus is certainly a better team than I think they are given credit for and certainly were not a gimmie.


Well, obviously, the game against OKC is a tough one and I'm going to look like a moron if we lose, which is quite possible. I think given all available evidence right now, though, we should be slightly favored to win that game and should have at least a #8 ranking.

Before Todays game the short, fat, flightless birds were 5-5 and OCT was 6-4. I had you ranked 1 WHOLE place behind them. For some reason you considered this a slight of epic proportions. Most likely in my next rankings, tomorrow you will be 8th and they will be 9th.

Going forward. You have 2 EASY wins, probable losses and a toss up game. OCT has 1 Easy win 3 probable losses and a toss up. The toss up game will decide the 8th seed in the playoffs, that game is Thursday and as you know it's against each other. Anchorage wins, they are IN the playoffs.

I'm going to make my pick tomorrow on this one. If I were you guys I would be hoping that pick is for OCT, Anchorage wins everytime I pick against them.

Romeorr has done a great job turning things around for us. I truly believe most of it was in our game planning and not that I think he was doing a shitty job...there are things we are starting to see now. I've been on this team since Season 4 and yes, maybe we have no trophies, but our team deserves to be up here...we may not be near the best right now, but we are definitely a playoff bound team(except this season). Dude, that's a lame ass excuse, mods know nothing more than us UNLESS they worked hard, experimented and learned thing themselves...I know some mods that are not very good with the AI. Basically, of course not everyone is going to know the same amount about the AI, some know more...others know less but to use them being a mod to say that they are given an advantage is dumb...hell Galkuris is not very good with the AI at all. Luckily, he has some top notch GMs!


BTW PP, I don't think we would give Dallas so much shit if they hadn't trash talked so much before the season began then not backed it up...us Monkeys trash talk...but we back it up.

Hell, I suck at everything on GLB. I'm just lucky I keep recruiting good players because I can't seem to build my own right....but I do know what to look for in others!

1) I point out that we should be ranked higher than 9th.
2) Person A tells me to shut my mouth
3) Person A states that we should probably be ranked 8th and/or we are favored to beat OKC (who cv has ranked 8th)

rinse and repeat with person B,C,D, etc.

then add in jfbueno blindly supporting his buddy with no logic


I'll support the ranking of 9th over 8th because really, who the fuck cares between that one spot at this time in the season? You WERE in 9th place, so it wasn't THAT big of a stretch. You took care of business today, and will move up your one measley spot.

Actually we have to many fat kids because instead of outside playing they are inside sitting at the playstation or the computer playing games like this. Parents who choose to work, instead of spending time with their kids, because they have to have that 52" tv and luxury car instead of a 19" tv and a used car. Executives who feel that they should get paid millions of dollars for not really doing crap is why we are in the financial situation america is in. GM paying their employees $60+ an hour and the executives even more. Global terrorism happens when you have a nation of fat asses and another nation who cant get enough food on the plate. Coddling doesnt create this, but a lack of respect for your fellow human being creates this.
