We were in 1st place when the thread was made.

That aside, I wasn't talking shit. I had just expected, from the amount that you all build yourselves up, that USA Pro would be difficult to succeed in for a new team. But evidently either the Yell are just that good (and we are unfortunately too inconsistent right now to be really elite), or you all aren't really that much better than the other good leagues I've seen. So I was pointing out that the difference between what you claim and what you can back up had confused me.

e: For another example, see also the Green Bay Maulers, who have not had a bad game every other week like we have.

Well, you know, you are 5-2 right now.

You went 15-1 last season in AAA #2.

Unless you can somehow finish out 10 and -1 i'd say that this league is a little bit tougher than AAA #2.

Hold on now. Don't be including us in this, pls. We have an absolutely brutal stretch coming up that runs through the end of the season, where if we go 500 I should probably be happy.

I'll be the 1st to agree that none of the top teams in AAA#2 would embarrass themselves up here. Hell, I think some of the top AA#4 teams would do well, but I'd also be lying if I pretended that we've ever faced a stretch of games like we're looking at anywhere else before. I don't think we will, but it's within the realm of possibility that we could go on a 9 game skid to end the season. That's never been a real possibility anywhere we've played before.

You still have 9 games left, including us in two weeks, which we'll mark down as a loss for now because history demands it.

Then you have the Marauders and the Spartans, which you will be lucky to split.
In four weeks that will leave you with a record of 7-4, if you're lucky.
