If a network broadcasts, and nobody sees it, does it exist?

Hmm. According to Mike Sherman, the Longhorns were in the Aggies shadow. But even the Aggies didn't know it.

“I’ve never thought A&M was in Texas’ shadow. When they stood together, I thought Texas was in A&M’s shadow, but not enough (Aggies) realized it.”

$20M a school? Tied together for 13 years?

Y'all are stuck in that joke of a conference for 13 more years. There is a clause that states if a member leaves their media rights stay with the conference for the duration of the contract.

SEC worth $40M a year per team imo

Yeah, the division championship stuff listed with conference championships is kind of retarded. It reminds me of when y'all did this

The national Championships is something most schools have done. A&M was #1 in some polls those years. That is why Bama claims like 14 championships.

I believe they make nearly a 100mil or more now in profits. Well over 80%-85% of that is filtered back to the school (not athletics). In contrast, LSU and Alabama were ranked #1 and #2 in the nation for % of money made by the football team went back to the football team. As much as I hate Texas, they print money and sit on it like a dragon or upgrade their academia. They do it the right way in this regard.

I believe Ohio State made just over 80mil last year and they are second highest in profits nation wide. Texas is in first and all by themselves by a wide margin. Why do you think every conference is falling over themselves to have Texas join them.

Odd you waiting until joining the SEC to do it and use another SEC as a reason it was ok...

Nebraska defenders were to excited to jump up and celebrate after a missed tackle. I don't think you understand how much mental power one has to go through when you are so focused on failing and then the need to celebrate it seconds afterwards. That's a lot of stuff to be aware of in 7-9 secs. Plus, Nebraska would be number one in the country if it were two handed touch football.
