Texas has 4 losses to the #4 and #11 and #NR and #NR in the country. One of those NRs beat you in your house by 34, then got beat by Utah state a few weeks later. You'd have the same record as us if you'd played our schedule. You're just fortunate enough to be able to schedule an SEC cupcake fest for your OOC. But we aren't pussies like you. Once you started playing teams with a pulse, you started losing.

We will play on the national CBS broadcast this week while nobody can watch your game on the LHN. More exposure for A&M. Charlie Strong cannot recruit in Texas for Texas, so your talent level will continue to diminish while we cherry pick who we want. One of your DB commits did not attend the RRR so he could go to the Aggie game, decked out in Aggie gear hoping to get an offer.
Starting next year you won't even get to throw the OOC softball out there since we have legit OOC opponents for the foreseeable future. Not that we have to, but I would try to bolster my schedule too if I played in the weak ass Big XII.

I'll just put it out there...if you don't believe in an SEC bias, then I'm just sorry for you. The SEC West plays no one important outside the SEC West. So bringing a team from outside the top 25 into the number 1 slot in 2 weeks is BS..just because it beat 2 teams the BIASED people believe were top teams. Wait until the end of the season and then see how many SEC West teams are in the top 25. They had LSU top 5 at one point...
Anyway, it is what it is, but just saying that there IS a bias whether you want to believe it or not and just because ESPN thinks a team has the best power ranking doesn't mean it really does. The games speak for themselves.If FSU and Ok State remain unbeaten this weekend, I think FSU will have had a truly tougher schedule than anyone in the SEC West so far. There is a lot to be said about in conference rivalries and that skewing the true power of teams.
As for Winston...not a fan at all....and I wont "tout and defend him like an Aggie fan". I personally hope he moves on as soon as possible and we get someone will talent and integrity to replace him!!!

SEC "bias" is because they have dominated everyone they play outside of the conference for a long time. Until SEC schools are being beaten on a fairly consistent basis, it is going to be assumed (correctly) that the SEC teams are better. That is not just me being an SEC homer; SEC schools constantly outrecruit other conferences and have the amenities to use to make those athletes better. Over the past decade, those differentiators have increased the gap between the SEC and the majority of other schools.
Florida St. was a great team last year and are pretty good this year. The top teams in other conferences are great also. In the SEC however, especially the SEC West, the level of competition is >>>>>>> than any other conference. Until the SEC is knocked from their perch and other conference can compete in recruiting and facilities, the gap will continue to be there. The SEC West is going to cannibalize itself, but a 2 or 3 loss SEC West team is likely better than the majority of conference winners in lesser conferences.
