Maybe i should have put a disclaimer on my rankings. *DISCLAIMER* Retards might get upset over a game and get retard strong and put up avatars of guys with a really bad shirt and hat. Read at your own risk of having a good time. Beware of Dog. pfft. OOPS sorry i just saw i must have offended him because i did not put wala wala at #1. Shame that almost every player thinks their team is the best and cant be open to interpretation. Oh well.

That's some good shit right there.

Payton, I don't think our game planning is better than anyone else's. But whatever it is, I don't want you to know it. Simple as that. But if the whole league decides to focus and pick apart one of your games, I'm certainly happy to hear all about what your tactics settings were!

More than willing to share!!!

Vs. Wala Wala.... Blitz 100%...

You like to pull that out a lot, but you only blitzed 50% of the time in the first half. You make it sound like you blitzed ON EVERY SINGLE PLAY - but you're "not making excuses".

FWIW here are my Power Rankings:

1. Wala Wala Drunken Shiners: (Strong and VERY consistent)
2. Chicago Bullets: (Not as consistent as Wala Wala, which is why they're #2)
3. New Brunswick Scarlett Knights: (Solid. Lost to a GREAT team. :-))
4. Manhattan Massacre: (Absolute no mercy, potential 1-2 seed.)
5. Lima Lemurs: (Not really battle tested, best win against Midwest Mayhem)
6. Rapid City Rushmore's: (Overpowering defense...and you know what they say about D)
7. Caprica Bucs: (eh, not sure what to think about this team)
8. Michigan Rage: (The ultimate sleeper team in this league, check out their pass D)
9. New York Strikers: (Couldn't put them ahead with the chemistry problems they have)
10. Midwest Mayhem: (Trading there FS? Hmm...Owner Erik might have something in that sleeve)

OK, from the responses I learned:

-The AI does switch to running the ball in a blowout, but not until the 4th quarter.
-It doesn't matter what level you have the AI set, the switch occurs (just like passing if you are behind).

Looking at our game I see we did indeed switch to mostly, but not exclusively, running in the 4th quarter.

So, if the consensus of that thread is correct, DVSmith was right that the AI switches to running in a blowout (however it happens in the 4th, not 3rd, quarter). Wrong that it is sensitive to how you set the AI.

Interesting your team scored the most points in the 4th Qtr. Who cares you won and thats what matters, just made a comment to Rising Suns original post cause he is trying to improve his team and they got stomped so bad. I have always had the AI on for some reason but thats me. do what you do and maybe we will meet again :b

i think a prediction for us of winning 80+ to 0 is a bit much. I would say maybe 45-0 or like 38-6 or something like that.

'I figured Rage beat them 45-0 and we usually dont go over 20 points.

NM..... Not worth it.... You're right Fog... We had our 'A' game on and you all are 25 points better than we are....

Congrats.

i dunno we are now looking into score hogging the wolves now so we can keep the points lead. As stated who knows when we need the points for a tiebreaker.

hurray for mgoblue71 and some football talk!

I agree with your predictions except:

New Hampshire by 7
New York by 17
Michigan by 30
Chicago by 27

Also, NY Strikers have low chemistry because they made some serious upgrades. God damn!

Big games in the East:

There are no heavyweight battles next game. But two important matchups.

New Hampshire vs. Miami Makos. This is a big game, as NH seems to have the roster to make a run, but started slow and then caught NY and MM for 4 quick losses. Are they on track finally? Coming off of a nice win over Scranton, Miami Makos are trying to separate themselves from the other middle of the pack teams. My pick: NH by 9.

NY vs. Akron. NY is the forgotten elite team in the East. But they are good and only have 1 loss coming from New Brunswick. Akron, has CPUs and depth issues, but is a solid winning team, doesn't get blown out, and beats the teams they should beat. Can NY put up a big score and get back in the conversation? My Pick: NY by 12.

Thanks for highlighting the game, its definitely a big one for us.

Hey all, this is Gwen, DC of the Hustlers. Booster brought me in to run the D and help with the recruiting a little bit after game 2 (when my player signed on). It took a while for things to gel, but I think we have a pretty good team going now. Trying to make a playoff run in this division, especially starting out 0-2 is tough. Some great managers and owners in this league.

Looking forward to the game with the Makos. I think it'll be a really good test for us against a tough opponent.
