I had a bottle of Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Whisky. it was $26.00 and it was the best bourbon I've had. It beat out Makers and other similar bottles of that price point.

He's not referring to Real Ale's Devil's Backbone. Though Real Ale's Devil's Backbone is very good. I don't really know too much about beers that are brewed in the Southeast. Texas, California, and the mid-West seem to be the places that distribute the best beers in Texas, so I'm most familiar with those. Hood_Jelly and vladykins both have a much better national beer knowledge than I do.
