Texas just received a $35 million donation from an A&M alum who also earned a PhD from Texas. It appears that he didn't leave anything to A&M. I guess even aggies like UT better than A&M.

Hopefully that dump of a college can spend some of that money on teaching it's staff and students on how to spell its own name. #loltexsa shorthorns

Resorting to dead alum donation smack. How the mighty have fallen

Why don't you give us some insight on how you think the horns will do this season?

This post is the perfect example of the difference between Texas and aggie. Texas Alums understand that sports are just one small part of what makes our university great and that the most important aspect of our university is the academic side. That won't stop us from excelling at athletics as well (we've certainly been one of the most historically successful universities at athletics and much more than aggie), but we always put it in perspective. A donation that large is more important than any championship since we are a university first and an athletics program second.

In contrast, all an aggie cares about is sports. What makes that so sad isn't just that, as a university, they should be focused on academics first, it's that they don't even have a history of success in athletics.

Jesus, the delusion you have about the supposed greatness is insane. Y'all are ranked as the 16th best public school in the country, and we are 25th. This isn't the 40s where we are just some small ag school genius. We are a Tier 1 research university that spends $700-800 million a year towards that front. The Wall Street Journal named TAMU second in the nation among all universities, public and private, in a survey based on graduates recruiters prefer to hire. Etc. etc. etc., We are as proud of our academics as we are sports, but this isn't an academic focused website, it is sports related, and thus we will continue to incessantly mock you and your underachieving team for the foreseeable future.

Shanahan's offense is difficult to learn quickly, and Hoyer has sucked with it as well. He will be the starter by game 4, making it 2 Aggie starting QBs in the NFL. Meanwhile Radio is being paid $100k a year by your university to fund raise and Colt is a 3rd stringer.
