i do think so 2 just i like to get the ironman feel alive just adding a few ideas taht might make that happen
even havvving a 5 man cpu squad filling up the other five slots seems fine if needs be

As far as the roster issue, if we had to have 20 players, make it mandatory for players to be on the depth chart for both sides of the ball. Maybe, have a preset depth chart in which all spots have to be filled?

I don't think any such requirements would be necessary, and they would be pointless. You could circumvent this easily enough, and you shouldn't HAVE to have all players play on both offense and defense. The spirit of the league is more about having most your players on both sides of the ball.

If this league were to be created, I would be the first one to purchase a team.

This is just how I see a typical roster setup. I think 15 players would work pretty easily. There are a couple options as to who could play KR/PR, but this was just how I saw it.

1 - QB
2 - HB - LB/DB
3 - FB - LB
4 - WR - DB
5 - WR - DB
6 - WR/TE
7 - C - NT
8 - G - DT
9 - G - DT/DE
10 - OT - DE
11 - OT - LB
12 - WR - DB
13 - WR - DB
14 - DB - KR/PR
15 - K - P

I thinkthe idea is that having 15 man roster gives the best iron man feel
but it is said by a 1 of the mods

so it seems 20 is the mandatory minimum of the engine the game runs on less just doesn`t seem to be a reall option

20 just doesn't seem to fit the ironman idea. Players would still have to sub, but that's almost a full offense and defense. I wouldn't be opposed to it, if that's the only option, but 15 seems much more fitting

We still don't have an answer on whether that 20 is a firm number. Like, can you have a team with less than 20 players, or is 20 the point where it kicks in to fill the rest of your roster with CPU guys. Is 20 simply the lowest max roster size?

The main problem I see is if 20 is both the minimum and the maximum. That won't work for the player pool.

The answer seemed pretty firm... the Bort quote was like "The sim has a hardcoded minimum of 20 players..."

if its a hardf coded minimum for the player pool it could stil be filled with cpu if there is a reason it drops below that number not a big problem just another thing to work with

If I'm reading this right, there is a min of 20 players on the offense, and 20 players on the defense. It says that the min is 20 players on a side. Is that what it means? If so, that works out to 40 players on a total roster, which is where it is currently set.

No, it is hard coded that each team needs at least 20 players for the game to take place. Each side, meaning team.
