well again you would have to go to the league forum starting at page 28 to get the whole story. we are at like page 45 and counting now though. as far as pm ing DD a number of us did but got a response that was unsatisfying and did not at all address the situation. His response made it clear that he did not understand what had actually happened. Which is why I again would ask that one of you go back and read the posts from the parties involved to determine for yourselves if they were cheating and then take appropriate action. those people continue to say that you said it was appropriate for them to gut a team and put them on another. all i want to know is if that is true so i and a number of others can determine if we can continue to support this game.

In general, when people ask me, I tell people that they can do what they want with trades as long as they don't rip off a team and leave it in ruins. Maybe that's what he's referring to.
In any case, you're right that I don't have a lot of time to deal with this stuff and investigate everything - that can take some serious time. So, I've forwarded it on to DD to take a look, and he'll make any decisions regarding it. You should really contact him regarding this sort of stuff in the future - it's part of his job on the site.

I am taking the time to PM you about what I feel is a collusion situation in BBB #14. Obviously GLB is a big deal taking up much of your time and so I wouldnt bother with this if I did not feel it important. A team owner apparently (see the BBB#14 Talk forum starting at page 28 to see how the entire thing unfolded) decided he was not interested in his AAA team, advertised this fact to the owner of the chattanooga quarentine, alcapown, agreed to send the ten best players on his team to chattanooga, these players could not be traded for evenly per the trade balancer so they where dropped and then immediately resigned onto chattanooga per a pre-arranged agreement. the aaa team was then sold to another owner staffed by mostly cpu players. the players that were dropped are in most of the owners opinions it seems not consistent with the overall talent level in the league thus creating an unfair advantage to some of the teams. my concerns are two fold. 1) I thought this activity was prohibited according to your own posts on the subject of gutting/collusion as well as the protections you have built into the system to prevent such a thing. and 2) one of the perpetrators of this event are saying you approved the dump and sign aforehand. Of course other things have been written hence the forum reference point listed above. I urge you to read it in its entirety because this collusion has created quite a stir. Anyway my bottom line is I cannot invest any more real $$$ into a hobby which tolerates cheating of any kind. Hobby's are no fun if others are going to cheat at thus eliminating the desire to spend money doing it. Certainly I could at this point continue to play for free, and I may do so depending on what unfolds. However, I thought it only fair to voice my opinion and bring this to your attention because it is after all your commercial venture. As a business owner I figured you would want to know that according to the forum many share my intentions.
I appreciate your timely attention in this matter. Thanks for what has otherwise been a pretty good game.
