an upset can be factored down like SJ's has been (or your 3 examples), but you cannot dispute that at the time it was an upset. you can say they were underrated at the time, but guess what? at the time of the game being played its called an upset

yes, and it was an upset...it was also 2 weeks after the one that still stands as the biggest one. I can't believe I am sitting here promoting one of our losses :-

I think Reno beating Little Haiti was maybe the biggest upset, even though nobody knew it at the time, but the San Jose upset, that really turned their season around and made them what they are today. One of the better teams in the west.

My biased opinion...Fresno hasn't gotten any love in this little argument. Not saying we upset anybody, Biggest 2 games were probably Colorado Springs and Reno. But we were fucking horrible last year, and we might be a .500 ball club this year. Not bragging, just trying to add to the really limited discussion.

For what its worth, Reno was probably the biggest upset beating Little Haiti, since we beat Reno, but L.Haiti kicked our asses.

here is my reasoning behind my pick for the upset, and i never got Mystico to comment maybe now that i called him out

reno/haiti game was the season opener so you got no other data to base it on except last season, SJ/OTR well as stated in my info post shitty 2nd season, and started with a 0-2 start


Reno vs Haiti

season 2

Haiti - 10-5 (cant find your first game)
Reno - 7-9 with 3 games lost by less than 4
last season you beat them by a FG
Haiti adding the bulk of the starting lineup from the FA market...IE shitty chem


SJ vs OTR

Season 2

San Jose was a 7-9 team last season
OTR was 3 rounds deep in the playoffs last season IE conf championship
SJ they came into this season losing their first 2 games
OTR won last season 20-7


now i agree both were upsets, but looking at this, at the time of the upset which appears to be bigger
