#1: My permaquit was mostly an elaborate scheme to get you let me see your CB build. Failed miserably because your heart makes the grinch seem like oprah.

#2: I'm still pretty much quitted since I don't really do anything of consequence with dots anymore except critically acclaimed AMA's.

Honestly I've been offered maybe a dozen accounts when peeps have quit glb. Maybe I should have collected them like pokemon so I could be cool like ref guru and his "network".

But alas, I'm too lazy for all that. I think I had like 7 dots on my account at its peak.

The only time I ever considered a second account was when my friend (the one who got me to join him here) died and I kinda wanted to keep his account and dots going until the end. The worry about getting 'outed' and then banned was enough to make me reckon it wasn't worth it. Now, if it was a completely free game....

Oh, and... did you seriously think I was Dprude? Sorry... DPride?

Was it a HH or blitz CB? I think I got that message somewhere.
Now I have a question.
What does a Unicorn FB look like?
I saw your post somewhere on what the stats might look like.I lost the thread.

Pod makes legendary blitz CBS.

For a receiving FB? Something like 160 spd, 89 agi, 82 catching 22.5% fake, +21% catch, 10 juke, 10 quick cut, 10 route run.

Email timp for advice though is a better bet. Idk how to dotbuild anymore. Wise Weapon was a monster!
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player_game_log.pl?player_id=4461260&season=46&stat_type=raw

His recFB led WL FBs in receiving a ton of times. His final 2 WL playoff games were 16 catches, 252 yards, and a Td.

Thanks That line of stats on receiving FB was what I was looking for..
Add capable to block I believe was the Unicorn part.

In my opinion its not worth the attempt to build. I've had rushing FBs before that I attempted to make "capable to block". Even though the rushing FB prototype has "Strength" as a major, even taking the "Blocking" attribute to 60 (doing so distracts from your first objective of the build) was barely enough to just create a FB that d-lines didn't maul and manhandle--it certainly wasn't enough to give an OC confidence enough to count on to deliver a block when yards mattered.

Ya, don't put blocking on a receiving dot please. This is a min max game, not a game for balanced builds. Most of the time he's on the field, either the down/distance, or your other personnel will tip off the defense. Add in that 95% of OCs don't know how to properly counter tagging, and 80% of those that know how are too lazy to do it. The chances of your Oc getting more out of his blocking than the extra receiving is nil.

Ok Mr. WiseMan, please help me out with this. Since the player pool is so shallow now, most of us will be interacting with a lot of CPU players. What I'm trying to evaluate is the cut off for human and CPU players. When deciding whether to use a human or a CPU dot, how many levels under leveled does the human player have to be before it is more efficient to put a CPU player in?

For example, if I have a team of all level 32 players except for a few human players that are a level 26 with decent, but not outstanding builds, would it be better to get a CPU to take their place or stick with them? How many levels down can you go before you need to can the human and take the CPU?

Also, when it pertains to energy, if you have a gassed out player at the maximum level for your league, is it better to play the gassed out player with a good build and top level as opposed to putting in a CPU player with full energy? In other words, how worn out do you let your human player get before putting a CPU in for relief, if at all?
TIA
~E

I think Wise will have more than I to add to this but I seem to remember with a human owned team that having a certain number of CPU dots (10, if my old brain remembers rightly) on the team gives the entire team a penalty. One or two CPU dots you can get away with. As for CPU dots vs Human dots in and of itself, it use to be that ANY human dot was better than a CPU but it seems that lately the CUP dots have gotten into the steroids and aren't nearly as worthless as they use to be. Lastly, if you just gotta use CPU dots, I find they work decently enough on ST's and if you gotta use CPU dots then I'd use them there first before using them on offense or defense. That's all I got.

I not sure if the bold in Theo post is correct or not. I was under the thinking that you can have a certain number of cpu's on a team with only little affect to the cpu dots only.
There is a magical number of cpu's on a team where they take a bigger hit on them but not sure what that number is. The whole team does not take a hit just the cpu's after you put so many on a team.

The idea was so you couldn't just buy a team and fill it with free cpu dots.

If it was as how Theo suggested there would be a whole lot of agents who would probably avoid teams with cpu's on them, I know I would if I spent flexies on a dot only to have him take a penalty on my dots build because there were cpu's on the team

EDIT maybe borts ghost can pipe in and verify this since we already seen the normal posts that we get from the bortster anymore from being the closing of the last season and the beginning of the new one.

Wouldn't the minimum number of CPUs be readded the next night (40 I think)?

You can block it if I remember correctly.
