A quick skim of the threads in GLB main, looks like at least half of them have an admin post or two in them.

Just because you don't feel the warm caress of Bort's bosom around you doesn't mean that there's no admins on the forums.

guess you suffer from selective reading comprehension as well.....

Geez, and they wonder why this game wasn't more successful.

Great customer service guys!

I can see where they're coming from. Why waste time on a game that's dead? The only thing left to do is bury it.

Yea, it makes so much more sense to have a dead body on return-flex life support for years instead. I think the point that you missed (like usual TBH) is that this game would have died completely a long time ago if we all didn't have this "investment" of dollars sitting there that we don't want to just walk away from. And from my perspective, probably others' perspective as well, we'd be better off with 70% of our expenditures in our wallet and would have left an unsupported game a long time ago.

The "charge out the ass, but give a large refund" model was probably the reason the game didn't grow big enough fast enough (cost too high) and also the reason that the site is still even live at this point.

Also as an added bonus, we still get your charming personality and obtuse point of view to witness. One good thing......

You expected more from a guy who took on a different persona in his own game just to act like an ass-hat?

Only speaking for myself here, but you are missing my point.

I don't honestly care about other games and tbh ANY Admin can post announcements to discuss those updates.

All I am saying is an appearance, an occasional post in such threads as this and other bug or suggestion type threads.

While I didn't always like Catch22, someone that is around more like he was.... and like it or not, when Catch was here, he helped to get Bort to check in periodically.

What I get from your responses to us is that it is more important for him to spend 8 solid hours a day (just as an example) working on new games, rather than spending 7 hrs and 45 minutes on the new game and 15 minutes visiting his first game, which should always be his baby since without it there never is a game 2, game 3, etc....

Is it supposed to raise our confidence level that a few minutes here and there on a somewhat regular basis is too much to ask for? Heck, as someone else mentioned, if Bort is too busy or even too lazy, someone else could even log into his account and post a few times to at least give the impression that he gives a sh*t.

Seriously guys, this isn't rocket science...... it IS good common sense though.

OK, if GLB1 was still being actively developed what you're describing makes sense ("Hey guys, I just made a slight change to ____, let me know what you think." "Looks better, but ____ could still use improvement." / "All right, I'll take a look." , and so on.). But the way things are nowadays, if we know there are no planned updates for GLB1 in the immediate future and if you're sure you don't want to hear about what he's working on right now, then, again, what specifically do you want to hear from Bort about? I mean, it kinda seems like we're back to the issue of "Bort should be my friend!"

Bort should be my friend

I'm pretty cool off line

I don't have room in my life for more friends though, so he's out of luck
