idk ALGs make all the new dotbuilders total garbage, that and the complicated and unforgiving build process that one needs to submit to for nearly a year just to make a good dot.

New players are going to be garbage anyway in an MMO that has been around for 6 years. The complexity of building in this game is GLB's best quality.

Right, but new users should beable to dive in and have some sort of success. I bet the average new user here will build a few players, try to get some help in the lulzy FAQ, make awful players, not get signed, rage quit.

in other games (which have been around equally long) where rather complex systems and data gathering are used for the most basic of gameplay, there is some type of tutorial to get players going, or there is a real mentorship program so the newbies don't get hit with what is an extremely steep learning curve.

a mentorship program here would be laughable.

I actually only remembered about the game in general because I got an email about GLB2. It's decent enough, but the simulations seem a little strange. It may just be that the CPU owners really really suck.

What does ALG mean?
