Scouts, Recruiters, and Individual Tactic Setters? lol, those positions haven't been relevant to this game since like before s30.

I done pwned bhall ITT.
1.0 isn't making any more money so there's that. Adding a free dot isn't going to cause them to lose sales. Will just make this game better.

i think that if we were to apply a probability to any of those "may"s you just said they would be very low.
The game itself requires more players and more teams in order to have more competition, more user interaction to raise overall enjoyment. It needs to do something to bring in more users in general.
Giving away another free player wont draw that new user base. 1,2 3 free players whats the difference at this point? They need people to come in and spend money, get addicted, build lots of dots and own multiple teams.
Outside of the place I saw a referral to this game back in 2008, I have never seen or heard of the this game anywhere. I honestly have no idea how people find it. From my POV this game does little to draw new people in and little to keep them around. If you look at users around here 99% of them are from early 2008. There isnt anybody new. We are all the suckers who spent alot of money at the begining and just riding the flex wave till we are out the door.

Free players don't make as much money for GLB, but more free players = more players in general = more teams = longer lifespan for the game imo
Those who really like this game will be here forever no matter what, even if they're the only team in WL with more than 5 human players
