I enjoy anything that adds to the game. People that play the game competitively enjoy things like Rankings, all star teams, game previews, even radio breakdowns. They want to know opinions and outside perspective of their teams. That stuff is interesting to the common people that are actually playing the game day to day.

And sure reading some forms of trolling and trash talking can be interesting too. But the majority of that also turns many of those people off and is really not even worth the read. For the guys who are just here for the forums they usually either stick around general or get a rise out of pretty much any sort of trolling.

Not really, no. They are generally people I've totally pwned in the forums and they really suck at posting so they just keep posting that same thing because it's all they have.

Back when the radio was an active part of talking about the game plenty of people tuned in. Have you ever checked the viewings on those? Not just live.

And plenty of people show up out of the woodwork for true write ups about their teams or players. And even if they don't post a thanks it doesn't necessarily mean they didn't read or enjoy it.
