That's not exactly accurate; the player data is still there, but they don't want to look into how to fix the broken link from your Retired Player's tab to all of your retired players. For example:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1139703

Does the long math post bury the lede? The real question in response to DD's post is how many of those new dots are built with fresh flex? People seem to say they are still here to burn off existing supplies.

A lack of funds or dots is the new chicken/egg argument.

It's obviously not what it used to be but I am sure some of those agents saying I am here burning off flex are still buying at times also.

I doubt anyone would say they aren't when they are. I haven't bought any in over two years.

People tried to help Bort and tell him the truth, but he listened to the wrong people. So what was once a promising and profitable game, is now just a waste of 2 or 3 minutes a day. Funny thing is that the people that Bort listened to, that helped him ruin the game, are long gone.

Shut. Up. Few internet browser game last five years, and I don't know of any that did so as the developer's first attempt to make one. The sim itself is great, which you would know if you actually played it, so GLB's demise has nothing to do with that.

I'll be killing of something like 7-8 younger dots and 1-2 older dots with plateau time left so that I don't have to buy more flex. These are all dots that would be WL quality dots if I chose to keep them (which would increase the competitiveness of the game), but it's not worth the cost.

I don't necessarily disagree with the overall point you are making about decline, but the whole point of the plateau is that 4 or 5 seasons worth or rookie dots can pool at the top. So yes, there may only be rookie dots in any one given season to fill 1.5 leagues, at the very top, but what that really means is that there are that many rookie dots times 5 seasons of plateau if you assume that people create about the same number of rookie dots each year. That brings your number of leagues up to 7.5 Pro leagues, 1 WL, 4 Pro leagues, and 2.5 Regional Pro leagues. So the decline is there but not on the scale you are predicting because you failed to account for the fact that many seasons' worth of rookie dots pool at the highest level.

Was going to say the same thing
