Not to impressed with GLB2, basically same principle with Techmo Bowl figures in place. They should put that lame horse down now before it brings down the herd. I'm a GLB CLASSIC til the end.

The best part about GLB2 graphics is that the 170 pound WRs and CBs are the same size as the 350pound linemen. I'll stick to dot ball. If I want graphics I'll play Madden.

Time would have been better spent adding/improving relevant animations to the dots. Mebbe let 'em flash a hand for catch fake. Give 'em emoticon-like faces to express conditions..... a juke move would leave a defender goggle-eyed or something.
The visual is only as good as the information it provides...

I know there are still bugs to be worked out but imo GLB 2 lacks depth in both building and playcalling - I know old blokes like me always moan about change but bloody hell whats the sodding point of bringing out an arcade style game - I will go and buy a cyberball machine if I want that ......Im building a few players so peeps dont think I havent tried it but I wouldnt even call it building

So once GLB is finally flushed away by its creators it will be back to webl for me with heavy heart and saddened pockets

Why Bort Why ? - GLB is different (better) than any other online football game that Ive found - so why make it as deep as a dried up puddle ?

Probably average about £30 a month here and have a nice little stash of flex - seems simple to me .....Improve GLB 1 or lose a huge part of the user base - if your confident that GLB2 is a stand alone game that may not be the wisest decision

Perhaps it might have been an idea to share the plans for the new game and taken note of comments etc - Im sure that would have helped prevent the tradegy that is 2 - I almost said travesty but that would be me being a little harsh

Overall - C minus from this seat of discontent !!

I can't stand the new one. It looks like crap, its hard to maneuver and from what i have seen it is not very user friendly. Maybe im just an old timer cause i been here since season 2. I can say with out doubt though if GLB2 was the first product i encountered in beta back in the day i would never have invested one dime in flex on the game. I'll play this one til they shut it down then find somthing else to spend my money on

graphics aside. glb2 has already surpassed the level glb1 was at in s2. so i dont believe that part of your message at this point.

though live playcalling on the docket rather than a less basic ai is really not the path id like to see from here but it is what it is i guess.

It's hysterical to me that Bort & co. came away from GLB1 with the idea that they should listen to the userbase less.

he was talking about coming in at s2 and if glb2 were the game he wouldnt have stayed. so ya..

GLB2 is pretty garish, though. I don't know who thought that was a good design.
