especially when i look at some of these replays and see guys doing wonky things and you guys saying well the punter needs hands to catch the ball or whatever. am i forced at some point to add hands? will mine and another guys punters end similar despite different paths?

Because that never happens in GLB1...even five years later...

So more ways to build like before they forced archtypes on us.........that really took the individuality feeling out of the game once builds got pretty cookie cutter.

So, in the end, there was no need for GLB2?

I think Bort knew GLB didn't turn out to be what he wanted and saw a bunch of people talking about how great it would be if the site started from scratch, but unfortunately I think he got most of the major details wrong in what would actually be appealing.

But this time, it costs less flex to make players!

He's listening!

I'm not sure why you're still here--you don't like the current game, and you don't like what you've seen of the new game, so....

You couldn't be more wrong. Having only ONE set of major and minors per position in the original game hamstringed builds--there were certain player types you simply couldn't build to have any degree of effectiveness. Archtypes opened things up (even if the additional levels and additional SP that was added with it may not have been a positive).

There was a need, to keep people talking about a game they haven't played yet, most action the site has had in awhile... genius!

Could you imagine if they would have said something about GLB2 when it was ready and nearly out of Beta?

And less flex return. It amuses me that I was the one to figure out they were doing that.
