Didn't one of the Steel teams get their teams switched around in the World League and bypass the chemistry hit of dropping and signing each dot to the team that was in the world league? That had everyone riled up for a while until they fixed it.

I still believe the rage over player decline/perceived forced retirement was more expansive than anything else mentioned in this thread. People are saying Dong, coaches, Hali's MVP exploit, testergate, ect... but those things didn't really bring people out of lurking status. Around S9 when player decline was being mentioned there were hoards of people I've never heard of blowing up in the forums alongside the regulars. The other things mentioned here just had the regulars raging.

none of these things really made people rage all that long outside the i slam stuff. not even dong really. hell i never knew the dong thing happened till seasons later....

This was more lol than rage

coaches was a mixed bag. it was kinda rage but a lot of people wanted it too. the rage was mostly over the ambiguous poll.

That was part of the rage. The rage of the hatahs as the proposal was moving forward, then of the wanters after the proposal was yanked which was additive since the hatahs hated on every hate post of the wanters expressing their want-hate.
